I’ve been home since my mother confirmed the she’d accept the promotion. She had already signed all the paperwork about my transfer, so I stayed at home helping her to pack and put everything in order. We vacuumed, washed and cleaned it all and then we put some blankets over the mobile.

This was my last day in this home.

All we needed was already packed. I got my clothes (mostly band tees and skinny jeans, but also my favorite boots and converses and some belts. I’ve also packed all my bracelets, perfumes, MAC make up and jewelry; hygiene products, personal stuff like IDs and etc.

The day before we leave, we gave all that was in the refrigerator and larder to the neighbors because it’d be a waste if they got rotten; we took all the household appliances from the socket and covered them too. My mom turned the master switch and closed the gas off. We got our stuff, went out and I locked everything while my mom called a taxi to take us to the airport. I listened to my iPod all during the car ride.

It was around 11 p.m. when arrived there, our check in was made and we were going to travel in 1st class!!! My stomach grumbled as we got our seats. I was starving! Luckily, a steward passed through us with a roast beef with potatoes. My mouth watered as I smelled the food. She served us and I got a strawberry non-alcoholic drink. I finished the delicious meal and leaned back my seat, getting in laying position. I decided to make a projection to check on Andy…

I was floating as fast as the plane, looking at my asleep body through the window. The silver full moon glowed, turning the view breathtaking as we flew above the Amazon Forest.

Now I just had to talk to Andy. I concentrated on him and appeared in his living room. I heard the shouts before I got the vision back and knew it. He and Juliet were having and argument.


“She’d never do that Andy! I know you want to take Jinxx’s side, but this is ridiculous!”
“I’m telling you the truth, Dragonfly! Jinxx even cried!”
“Stop it!! I’ve known her longer that you and she isn’t like that! Sammi’d never be like that! She’d never say that about Ella and I”
“Well, that night she was a pretty bitch!”
Juliet’s face got very red. “You know what? We are done talking! I’m going out!”
“Wait! We are you going?”
“To Sammi’s. I don’t believe in a single word of what you said! Call me when you decide to stop calling my best friend a bitch”

She grabbed her purse and jolted to the door passing through me in the process. Her rage was so high that she almost knocked me out when I got a glimpse of her emotion, making me fall on my knees as she shut the door behind her.

“Angel!” Andy ran to me as he noticed fallen on the ground. His blue eyes filled with worry. Awww… He did care about me. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine… Juliet’s feelings are pretty strong. What happened? I came in a bad time?” I asked while I got up and sat on the couch.

He explained to me all that happened earlier that day I saved him. How Sammi appeared and made Jinxx cry and said horrible things. I also told him that I was I that sang ‘Jar of Hearts’ to him and I got furious knowing that my help was destroyed because of that bitch.

“Don’t worry, Andy. Juliet will discover the truth, sooner or later. And you’ll get back together without any problems.” I said with a smile, but inside I was dying. I really loved him, but I’d never do something that may make him unhappy. He was so happy with Juliet, he may never be this happy with me. She was his soul mate, not me.
“So…” He started messing the back of his hair, taking me out of my thoughts “What brings you here?”
“I was going to tell you today all about me that you wanted to know”
“But…?”
“But something happened and I may do it later…”
“What happened? Why not now?” He pouted.
“It’s a surprise…” I said ruffling all his hair.
“Hey!” We cracked laughing. “How can you move things if you are… a “ghost”” He asked putting air quotes.
“As I said… I’ll tell you later.” I replied with a wink.

Before I could say anything else, I was pulled back to my body, getting dizzy and confused. Everything was spinning and I couldn’t focus. I only could hear my mother’s voice.
“Hunny?
“Hum?” I moaned.
“Hunny? Wake up, the plane arrived.”
“What?”
“The plane arrived.” She repeated.
“Oh. Okay.” I stood up as my mom got our luggage.

As we exited the airplane, and walked through the hall we saw a man holding a plate written ‘Mrs. Lovett’. He had cocoa skin and was pretty tall , maybe taller than Andy, over 6ft 3. He had a shaved head and was very muscular, his black suit showed it very well, he was also wearing dark sunglasses and had an ear pierced. I smiled from how he reminded me Cobra Bubbles from Lilo and Stitch. We approached him and he looked at us, well, I think he did, his sunglasses didn’t let me see his gaze.

“Mrs. Lovett?” He asked in english in a deep tone.
“Yes” My mother answered as he raised his hand to her and he shook.
“I’m Silver. Mr. Abdeer sent me to pick you up and drive you to you new home safely.” Mr. Abdeer was my mom’s boss. I softly giggled and his head turned to me. “Something wrong?” he asked a little annoyed.
“Sorry!” I apologized embarrassed. “It’s just I remembered that Marceline’s father, from Adventure Time, whose a lawyer too, is also called Abdeer. I thought it was funny…” I said in a small voice.

His expression seemed soften and he kneed to be in my eye level. “I thought my boss said Mrs. Lovett's daughter was 16… What’s you name and how old are you, little one?” He asked as if I was a child.
“My name’s Angel and I am 16, sir.”
“And you know Adventure Time?” He asked amused.
“Actually, I never lost an episode.” I said proudly and he smiled.
“Can I tell you a secret?” I nodded. “My 5 years old daughter had the same reaction as you and the first time she met my boss she asked me if he was Marceline’s father.” He stood up chuckling as I giggled. “Okay Mrs. and Miss Lovet, let’s take you home.”

The sunset in the ocean was so beautiful as we rode to our new home. Because of the time zone I got Jet Lagged, so I slept all the way and hardly remember entering our new house or changing into my PJs before falling into my new comfy bed and letting sleep consume me.
