All Your Hate
Waiting
*Andy's POV*
It had been 20 minutes since Scarlette had last called me. She was probably just running late, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. I was in Jinxx and Ashley's room, where everyone was talking and waiting for Scarlette to get back so that we could go out to get some dinner. My phone rang again, but it was a number that I didn't recognize.
"Hello?"
"Hello, are you by any chance familiar with a Scarlette Moore?" a man's voice said on the other end.
"She's my girlfriend," I said, getting nervous. Where was she?
"I'm sorry to inform you that she has been involved in a serious accident and is at critical condition at the hospital right now."
"What?!" I raised my voice and everyone's eyes were on me.
"We need someone who knows her to be here."
"Yeah, I'll be there in 10 minutes," I said as he told me the name of the hospital.
"Dude, what happened?!" Ashley asked me as I grabbed my jacket and ran out of the room.
"Something about Scarlette. She's in critical condition at the hospital, are you guys coming or not?" They all wore shocked expressions on their faces and we all ran out the door to find a minivan.
On the way there, Alexa and Sammi were both crying while Ash and Jinxx were trying to calm them down. I honestly felt like crying myself, what on earth happened? We reached the hospital and ran through the doors. A young girl was at the reception and she looked surprised to see us there, after all there were about 9 people running into a hospital late at night.
"How can I help?" she asked, looking nervous.
"I'm looking for my girlfriend, Scarlette Moore. She was brought here earlier," I said, out of breath.
"Oh yes, the doctor will be with you in a second," she said. A man was walking to us and wearing a grim expression on his face. I could tell he was the one that was helping Scarlette.
"Mr. Biersack, I assume?" he asked and I realized that he had spoken to me on the phone.
"Yeah, that's me.." I said. "Is she- I mean will she be okay?" I asked, biting my lip.
"Mr. Biersack. She has four broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a broken arm. A car was speeding on the road and it hit her while she was crossing the road. Witnesses said the car appeared out of nowhere."
My face paled and I sunk down into a chair, feeling sick.
"We cannot tell you how she will be at this moment, but we are running more tests on her right now. If you would like, you may see her, but one person at a time please." We all agreed as he lead us to her room and left us, knowing that we would want some privacy.
"So... who wants to go first?" Alexa smiled sadly at me.
"Andy... I think that out of all of us, you're the one that needs to see her most," she said. I nodded gratefully as I opened the door and prepared myself for the worst.
What I saw made my heart break. Scarlette looked so weak, and broken. But she still looked beautiful. She had a cast on her arm and a cast around her torso like I had when I first broke my ribs. I remembered how painful it was and sighed. She had it ten times worse, I wish I could take some of the pain away from her. I sat down on the chair that was next to the bed and took her hand.
"Scarlette. I know you won't reply. But please, wake up. Because I can't live without you. And I hate seeing you like this. I miss your smile, your laugh, your voice. Come on, wake up and tell me that you're going to puke because I'm being so mushy. Slap me for being annoying. Tell me to shut up for being dumb. I miss you. Please wake up." But no, nothing. I sighed, because even though I expected that, it still hurt.
I heard a soft knock at the door. It was Alexa.
"Hey..." I said softly.
"Hey Andy, the rest of us are gonna go soon... and we just want to see her if that's okay."
I realized I had been there for 20 minutes. "Oh yeah, sure, I didn't realize the time." I headed out of the room but Alexa stopped me.
"She'll be okay you know. Scarlette's a fighter," she smiled a little.
"Yeah. I know," I said, and I hoped she was right.
The doctor came to us just as we were leaving. He had a grim expression on his face and we all sensed it. I prayed that it was nothing really bad.
"I'm sorry to have to tell you this. But Miss Moore has slipped into a coma."
Everyone gasped and I just stood there, staring into space, numb. I couldn't believe it. Not my Scarlette.
"One of you can stay here if you would like. The injuries weren't extremely serious so she won't be in a coma for a long time. She will wake up soon." The doctor left and I felt the anger rising up inside of me. If I ever caught the person that had hit her... he would be dead. My hand clenched into a fist and I punched the nearest wall as hard as I could, the tears starting to roll down my face.
"Andy..." I felt a hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down. It was Sammi who just looked at me. "You're staying here, I guess?" I nodded.
"It's gonna be okay Andy. I promise." I was thankful for her words but still so scared. The other eventually left and I was there alone, curled up on one of the benches in the hall.
************************************
Four days. It had been four days since Scarlette had gone into a coma. I had been spending my days at the hospital, just waiting for her to wake up. I decided to tweet the fans to update them on things, because I hadn't lately.
@AndyBVB: Hey BVB Army. Sorry I haven't tweeted in a while. Still waiting for my angel to wake up, hope she comes back to us soon.
I got a huge amount of replies from fans saying that they hoped that she would be alright again soon. We honestly had the best fanbase ever.
Finally, the nurse let me into her room with a sad smile. I had been completely numb since the accident, I had barely eaten anything and I hadn't changed clothes. Normally I would think that it was really gross, but right now I didn't really care.
I took my usual spot in the chair by her bed and took her cold hand.
"Hey Scar," I said softly. "Can you hear me?" No reply. I sighed. I hadn't gotten much sleep so I drifted off, my eyes closing and my head resting on the mattress next to her hand.
Hours later, when I woke up, she was still in the same condition. I sighed. Maybe it was time for me to go home. I picked up my jacket and phone and looked at Scarlette, who looked peacefully asleep.
"Please Scarlette. Wake up, I'm begging you." I leant down and kissed her cheek, before sighing and heading to the door.
"Ew, Biersack. How long have you had those clothes on? Because they smell like crap," I heard an extremely familiar voice say. The voice that had been missing for the past four days. I stopped in my tracks, a huge smile coming across my face as I turned around.
"Scarlette!" I yelled, as I rushed back to her side.
"Hey," she said, her voice, though weak, showing happiness.
"You're back," I breathed. I leaned down and kissed her full on the lips. She seemed surprised but kissed back anyway. Wow, I had missed her.
"Andy... how long was I gone?" she asked after we broke apart. "I mean... the last thing I remember was seeing a black car speeding towards me... and then... a crash."
"You've been out for four days baby," I said sadly. "But you woke up and that's what matters. I have to get the doctor," I said suddenly, running out of the room.
I ran through the halls, looking for Scarlette's doctor. I found him walking towards me, a confused look on his face. I guess I hadn't been this energetic or happy for a while.
"She's awake!" I cried, and he looked surprised.
"Thank you, Mr. Biersack. This is good news. We'll just have to run some more tests now that she's awake and you can tell your friends that she's woken." I took my phone from my pocket and called Jinxx.
"Hey Andy..." he said, nervous.
"JINXX! She's awake man, you gotta come here now!"
"WHAT?! No way! We'll be there in 5," he said, hanging up.
And sure enough, 5 minutes later, I saw my best friends in the world and my girlfriend's band running towards me, huge smiles on their faces.
"She's really awake?" asked Alexa, her eyes bright.
"Yeah, she insulted me the second she woke up. I was about to leave the room when she spoke," I laughed and everyone else did as well, that did indeed sound like Scarlette.
"Where is she now?" asked Sammi.
"They're doing more tests or something, we'll be able to talk to her soon."
*Scarlette's POV*
I suddenly woke up when I felt someone leaning close to me and kissing me on the cheek. But it wasn't because of that, it was because there was some really weird smell coming from the person. Like they hadn't showered in ages or something. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Andy, who was heading for the door.
"Ew, Biersack. How long have you had those clothes on? Because they smell like crap," I said, my voice scratchy. Probably because I hadn't spoken for ages.
"Scarlette!" he yelled, and rushed back to me.
"Hey," I said.
"You're back," he breathed. He leaned down and kissed me full on the lips. I was surprised but kissed back anyway. I noticed that my head really hurt and so did my stomach. and that I had a cast on my body and on my arm.
"Andy... how long was I gone?" I asked after we broke apart. "I mean... the last thing I remember was seeing a black car speeding towards me... and then... a crash."
"You've been out for four days baby," Andy said sadly. "But you woke up and that's what matters. I have to get the doctor," he said suddenly, running out of the room.
RIght after he did, I thought about what he had said. I had been asleep - in a coma - for four days. It wasn't that long but it was still scary to think about. And how come my stomach and chest hurt so much? A doctor came into the room and smiled.
"Hello Miss Moore, glad to see that you're awake."
"Yeah, hi. Can you please tell me what happened?" I asked, really curious.
"You were hit by a car. You broke four ribs, your arm, and you punctured a lung," he said and I looked at him in disbelief.
"That young man has been in the hospital with you every single day since you were brought here. He's a keeper," he said, and I smiled.
"Yeah," I said. "He sure is."
Just then, everyone came into the room. Usually, 9 people weren't allowed in at once, but the doctor chuckled and made an exception. I was hugged by everyone numerous times and Andy couldn't seem to leave my side.
"Scarlette, we were so scared," Sammi said.
"Yeah. These past four days have been awful," said Jake.
"But we're so glad you're awake!" Alexa told me and hugged me again.
"I'm so sorry guys. I mean- wait a second," I said, realizing something. "The tour, what happened? Oh no, I've let so many people down," I said, sitting up suddenly. "OUCH!" I cried, as a sharp pain went through my stomach at the sudden movement.
"Scarlette, you have nothing to be sorry for. And don't worry, the fans understand completely. And you just stay right where you are, the doctor said you aren't allowed to move," Andy looked at me sternly.
"Okay fine Dad," I muttered and everyone laughed. Andy rolled his eyes at me.
"Your eyes are gonna get stuck like that if you keep doing it," I said in a sing-song voice. I missed annoying him, it was fun.
"Is being mean to your boyfriend something you enjoy?" Andy asked.
"Yeah, it really is," I smirked and gestured for him to come closer. I kissed his cheek and everyone aww'd. He smiled at me and the doctor came in, a paper in his hand. He looked worried. What could be wrong now?
"Miss Moore, I have some news," he said, looking extremely sorry. And then he said the words that shocked me most of all, making the accident seem like something mild.
"I'm sorry to say this... but you've lost the baby."
It had been 20 minutes since Scarlette had last called me. She was probably just running late, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. I was in Jinxx and Ashley's room, where everyone was talking and waiting for Scarlette to get back so that we could go out to get some dinner.
