Chapter 19

Raven's POV

It's the day of the signing down at the store and I can feel the stress building already and I'm not even to work yet. I kiss Andy goodbye, but he stops me mid kiss and pulls me into his lap so I'm straddling him. We've both been so busy that neither of us have time for intimacy. "You and I haven't talked a lot in the last week. How's work going?" He asks. I try to answer him, but he distracts me by grabbing my ass and squeezing it.

"Work is good. I love it there. Emerson and I have became pretty great friends. Besides, you'll get to see me today." I finally murmur to him. I lean in and smash my lips to his and stand up. "I serioiusly have to go, though. I love you." I blow him a kiss and take off. He 'catches' my kiss and smiles to himself before shaking his head and grabbing his phone.

~Later that day~

Emerson and I are working our asses off to get the store ready for the signing. We have less than an hour to get things ready and people are waiting in line. It's gotten so crazy that we have to have security by the doors to keep people in line. As I sort through shirts and other band merchandise, I see a familiar face walk into the store and I internally groan.

"Hey Raven! Fancy I see you here, what's going on?" Juliet pipes up. I put on my nice smile and say hello. "I work here. You know this. You've been in here everyday since I started...and you never buy anything." I mention and cock an eyebrow. She flushes and shrugs her shoulders. "I just like to look is all. You guys seem busy today. Got something going on?" She asks.

That's it. She's driving me fucking crazy. "You know damn well Black Veil Brides are coming in here today for a signing. There are posters everywhere. Not to mention I know it's you who's been calling the house and all the guy's cell phones. I'm getting sick of you bothering us. Just leave Andy alone." I tell her.

I see a disgusting, but satisfying smirk plaster on Juliet's face, and she leans in closer to me so only I can hear her. "Someone's a tad paranoid aren't we? I think Andy's a big boy, he can handle himself, and he doesn't need to be babysitting some little girl like you." She whispers. Oh hell no. This bitch has gone too far. I poke her in the chest and get ready to cause a scene when Emerson comes up and grabs me. "How would you like me to help you take this outside?"

Juliet snickers and walks away, but Emerson grabs Juliet's arm, and spins her back around. "Look, I know what kinda person you are. You're the bitter, jealous ex who can't stay away when told. Andy's moved on and it's clear you need to do the same. If I catch you harassing her again, I'll file a complaint. Now go." Emerson spoke in a low, but threatening tone. Juliet ripped her arm free from her and scowled before walking out of the store.

I stared at Emerson in surprise. I'd never had anyone to stick up for me before, well other than Scarlet and she wasn't here. I rubbed my arm and blushed while looking at Emerson. "Thank you for doing that, you didn't have to though. I just got tired of her constantly bothering me and Andy..." I trailed off. Emerson smiled and shrugged. "Don't mention it. She had it coming. You and Andy deserve happiness and you can't let her come between you." I nodded and thanked her again then headed back to work.

I was folding t-shirts on the shelf when a pair of hands wrapped around my waist and I felt lips on my neck. I shivered at first, but smiled when I realized it was Andy. I turned around to face him and before I could even get in a hello, he crashed his lips into mine and shoved his tongue in my mouth. I tangled my fingers in his hair and smiled against his lips. When he finally let me breathe, I looked up at him and grinned. "Well hello to you too." I greeted. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Hey, babe. What are you doing here?" He asked.

I open my arms wide and glance around before smiling at him. "Surprise! I work here. So, you'll get to see me today." I kiss the end of his nose and out of the corner of my eye I see Ashley staring at someone. I follow his eyes and sure enough, I see Emerson bent over the counter on the phone with someone. I snap my fingers in front of Ashley and give him a threatening look. "Keep it in your pants, Purdy Porn. If I find out you are hitting on Emerson, I'll have your balls." I warn. He puts his hands up in a defensive manner and backs away. "Damn. Feisty!" He laughs.

Ashley's POV

We have a signing today at Hot Topic down at the mall in East LA. I don't mind the signings, but I just go for the ladies. Andy mentioned something about seeing Raven while we were there, and if I'm lucky she'll have hot friends there. As we walk in the store, I see Andy go over to surprise Raven, but I don't pay attention because a particular purple and black haired girl catches my eye. Hot damn this girl is fine. I have to have her number. There is no question about it.

I'm staring at her ass and fantasizing about bending her over the- "You're Ashley Purdy right?" A voice says, interrupting my dirty thoughts. I shake my head to clear it when I realize it's Emerson talking to me. I nod and give her my best smile. "That's my name! What can I do for you, beautiful?" She blushes and looks down. "C-can I have a picture and maybe an autograph?" She asks. I smile even bigger and nod. "Of course! I'll even do you one better. You got a phone?"

She nods and hands me her cell phone and I put my number in it. "Here, send me a text and I'll have your number." She texts out a reply and sends it. My phone goes off and I put her name in my phone. "Perfect. If you ever wanna hang out, come over, go on a date, chill with us, hit me up." I say. She blushes the color of Raven's hair and nods. Emerson turns and walks away and naturally I watch her the entire time. Well done, Ashley. Mission accomplished.
