The Saved and the Damned

The Damned

Rodger POV

“You think God can still hear you down here?” I asked a recent drug dealer that bit the dust when fighting for his precious merchandise. I slowly pushed a hand through his chest and moved my fingers gently around his heart and lungs. Forcing him to scream. Oh the sounds of the damned. It was my orchestra. “Wait until we get your little girl down here with you.” I whispered in his ear. “She’s so pretty. I just hope I get a chance with her.” I pulled my hand out of his chest and walked around the room I was holding him in. “I wasn’t going to tell you but I think I will anyway.” I gave him a sly smile. “She’s gotten into daddy’s business. She has so many guys in her bed.”

He spit in my face, “this may be hell. But if I stayed up there I would be in an even worse hell.” He face was bloody and he was missing an arm and foot. Courtesy of yours truly. Half of his intenstines were spilling out onto the floor.

I cupped his face in my hands and widened my eyes letting him see the powers a demon had. I showed him only the most agonizing things. As his personal demon I knew everything he feared and everything that caused him pain. I smiled when his screaming echoed through the torture hall. I let go and he attempted to curl into a ball. I chuckled when I heard a familiar voice behind me.

“Thanatos, you are needed.” Malus said from the entrance of my personal torture room.

He was a tall demon. He had a certain mist around him that told everyone he was the oldest Fallen Angel in Hell. The oldest, the meanest, the one who had absolutely none of his old feelings for his former Father.

“What is it?” I asked wiping my hands on my blood stained shirt.

“Earth needs you. Andy, our only Fallen Angel on Earths soil is being threatened. God sent an Angel to bring him back up to Heaven. You need to do everything in your power to stop her.”

“I’m on it.” I said walking out of the room.

He put a hand on my chest stopping me. “If you kill her. I will kill you.” He threatened.

“Why do you want her alive?” I asked. He never asked me to spare a life before.

“She’s a rebel. I want you to see if you can make her one of us.” He took his hand off of me. “Make her see that we are the ones winning this war. But if you can’t, then bring her to me.” He moved away from the door and let me pass.

“One question, why do we need a tiny Angel?” I turned back to ask.

“We need any Angel we can get. To show God that he has no chance against us. That he can’t even keep a watcher Angel under his thumb.” Malus said facing me.

I gave him one nod then walked to Earths transport. I nodded to the demon in control of sending other demons up to Earth. “Interested in which part of Earth?” Dwade asked.

“Los Angeles California.” I smiled.

He nodded and put his hand on my forehead and I felt lighter. I could feel myself lose my body and become a mist that roamed through the air. All I could see was black. The way I liked it. None of Earth was visible until I landed, fully clothed, and in my human form, in the middle of a crowded area in Beautiful LA. A man in a suit brushed passed me and spilt a drop of his coffee on my jacket. I sneered at him as he continued his walk to where he needed to be.

“Beautiful my ass.” I muttered wiping at the drop of coffee on my arm.

I searched the place I was in and determined where I needed to go. I wandered toward the building that the locals called The House of Blues and ran into people along the way. I smirked at the women who wore basically nothing on them and took a magazine when I passed a paper stand. When I got to the building I walked in.

“Ticket?” A woman asked when I was about to walk into the venue that bands were already playing at.

“Hm, I don’t think so.” I smirked at grazed my fingers over her bare hand.

She froze in place and tears streamed down her face silently. I smirked and walked behind all of the people that were jumping up and down for the bands that were playing. I smiled remembering the time when Andy’s little Fallen Angel ass first came down to Hell. The poor thing was terrified. Then after a while he started to like it. He enjoyed the torturing. Then he got out. The first of the Fallen Angel’s to get a do over on Earth. He was born into a normal family and forgot all about his life in Heaven and in Hell. He can thank me for that.

When it was his bands turn to come on I could see someone. Someone who was standing almost at the front. She was staring at them. Not even moving much. The Angel. She was pretty. But not my kind of pretty. But she seemed like the one who would go for a ‘nice’ guy. This could work nicely.

“Put your hands in the fucking air!” Andy screamed. “Scream, shout.” The whole crowd put their fists in the air and pumped them with each word. “We are the Fallen Angels!”

Really, Andy? You really made a song about Fallen Angels? I knew he wouldn’t be a very good human. But that’s what I had to do. I zoned out a little when a skinny girl with fish nets passed by me. I smirked at her and she smiled. She turned back around to face the stage and my eyes wondered down. I chuckled and let my eyes go back to the stage. When Andy announced the name of the last song the girl with the fish nets came over to me and shoved her tongue down my throat. I allowed it and let my hands grab at her ass and breasts. I let her tongue explore my mouth then I did the same with hers. Her hands wandered down to my jean buttons and stuck a hand down. I actually started to get turned on. I let her grab at my erection and I slipped my hands down her pants and grabbed at her ass.

“I don’t live far from here.” She whispered letting go of the kiss.

“I have a girlfriend.” I told her.

She slapped me hard and walked off. I held the side of my face and smirked. I went back to listening to the…music, if someone could call it that. To me it was just a lot of loud noise that didn’t make sense. I preferred silence. Ironic huh? A demon that didn’t like screaming.

Their last song was almost over and the crowd squished closer to the front. I tried to see the Angel again but I lost her. When the guitars finally rang out the last notes they all ran off and the crowd screamed for one more song but it didn’t happen so they all walked out of the venue. Soon the floor was almost cleared. Just a few people were left still talking to one another. Then there was the Angel. She was at the very front holding onto the railings still staring at the stage. I wanted to walk up to her but she seemed confused. She had obviously not done this kind of thing before.

I chuckled to myself kind of wanting to see where she went from here. Why would I disturb her plan when I could just watch from the side and laugh at her failure to get the rebel back in Heaven? I backed out of the venue still amused at how out of place she looked. This was going to be fun.

Notes

Sadly not every chapter is going to be as long as the first one haha.
