As we made our way into the venue, we noticed a few fans hanging out so the guys decided to pose for some pictures and sign some autographs while the girls and myself followed Aston inside . I loved this venue before but empty it was even better than I expected. I reached in my bag to get my camera and realized I left it in the car .
“Shit guys I left my camera in the car," I grimaced.
“Well run and go get it, we need tons of pictures together tonight," smiled and motioned to the door. Macey had wandered off talking on her phone. I headed out the side door and at the same time I opened it so did Andy. Talk about an awkward moment.
“Oh, damn babe I am sorry," Andy said stepping out of the way with a cute smirk on his face . I found myself looking at the ground and kept walking . I knew my face was beat red. I quickly found my camera and ran back into the venue and just in time. The band were just starting their sounds check. I walked back in to the sounds of the opening rifts for "Nobody's Hero" and I decided why not take some pictures. The band had no stage make up on, just them working on the sound of the songs for the concert that night. Out of nowhere Andy just starts singing "Lost it All" without the music. I went from dancing and to being stopped in my tracks. For a good minute, as he sang the words, I found myself singing them back to him. Our eyes didn’t leave each other’s during the chorus. As Andy sang the words:
" I believe that we all fall down sometimes , can't you see that we all fall down sometimes," with a smirk from, they went right in to "Rebel Yell." Richelle and macey just looked at me like "what just happened?"
I ignored them both and just started dancing and taking some more pictures. After a few seconds, they joined me in rocking out. After "Rebel Yell", the band took a break while Ash, Jinxx, and Jake worked on their guitars . CC came down and talked to us.
"So Summer is this the only show you are seeing on this tour or are we kidnapping you for the rest of it?" CC grinned.
"Hmmm, I don’t know CC so far this is the only show I am going too, but," Summer smiled, "I wish I could go to more."
"CC we are ready", Andy motioned.
"Ok, ok damn, keep your pants on," CC started to walk off then he turned about and said
"Maybe you could just crash on the bus and stay on the tour with us . I am sure we could find something for u to do”, CC winked.
Before I could say anything, Ashley and Jinxx both agreed with CC and the band began practicing "Rebel Love Song."
I sang every word to that song without skipping a beat before they started playin "In the End". Between Richelle, Macey, and myself, I think we sang over Andy.
After all that the guys where shipped off to do press, so me and the girls headed down to talk to the fans and grab a bite before the show.
"What do you think so far?" Macey smiled as they walked out.
"Amazing," I exclaimed, "how's life on the road been?"
"Great!" Richelle and Macey said in unison, "are you thinking of taking CC up on his offer?"
"We love to have our bestie here with us," Richelle put her arm around me, "and we could use a merch girl."
With an offer like that, how could I refuse?
“Let's drop the tour talk right now and just have lunch," Richelle smiled.
“WOW theres a lot of fans out today," Macey motioned to the parking lot.
"Tell me about," Richelle smirked, "there has not been this many in a few nights tonight is goin to be crazy."
“Ya know, it's funny all these kids are like 12 to 19. I thought their fans would be older," I commented looking at the girls.
"Well Summer, me and you are old, Richelle joked, knudging me.
"Shut up!" I laughed.
We all busted out laughing . We talked to a few people in line then we headed in to grab a bite to eat. Just as we sat down and got our drink, I could hear Richelle's phone go off
“It's CC and Ashley and they would love to join with us . Richelle looked at Macey and winked. They looked at me with a grin.
"And why are you looking at me like that? They can if they want I don’t care," I could feel my cheeks turning red. Richelle started to text them back.
"You know they both think your hot Summer," Macey commented.
"Ashley just likes my boobs and CC is just being nice," I said offhandedly. "Yeah, ok keep thinking that," Macey said rolling her eyes at me .
"No really Summer you may be right about Ashley, but CC invited you on tour and he doesn’t do that to just anyone," Richelle smiled, "Hell he wanted to leave Andy at home."
Just then, Ashley and CC walked up to where we were sitting.
“Wow, you two are done fast," I said smiling at CC.
"Yeah, well come to find out Andy is being an ass today and he's doing press alone and Jinxx went to Skype with Sammi and Jake is taking a nap so you got us. Besides we where bored and hungry," CC said as he pulled up a chair next to me . Ashley stood there being quiet.
"So, umm Ashley are you having fun so far ? Still looking for your hookup in this city?" I said laughing with a wink.
“What, you think I am a man whore?" Ashley crossed his arms.
"Yes!" we all said in unison.
"Haha, you girls are sooo funny ," Ashley paused, "and I am sure I will find someone at the after party anyway. That reminds me, you going tonight Summer?"
"Well I didn’t know I was invited but yep I will be there," I smiled.
"Good, now I will have someone to hang out with," CC said nudging Summer. He looked like he got excited that I accepted their invitation .
We chitchatted awhile until our food came . The guys had to wait on there food a little longer and Ashley and CC kept stealing bites off my plate.
"Ok boys, if you take one more fry and I will stab you with my fork," I slyly smiled waving my fork.
"Damn girl, you're mean," Ashley grinned taking one last fry.
Damn him for acting adorable.
It was funny couse when the guys got there food I swear, I ate more of theirs then I did my own . CC ordered a steak and had me try it. Ashley got lobster with mac and cheese, which I think he let me eat all the lobster out of it .
"Damn, Andy need cigs and he wants us to bring him food . Not doing it when he's in this kind of mood," Ashley threw his phone down on the table, "I am goin to let him get his own shit."
"Ash your mean," I replied.
“Nope, we better get his food at least i don’t think he ate yesterday Ash," CC looked concerned.
" I think you're right. He didn’t eat when we did but he slept through it," Richelle reminded them.
"Order him some food and I will go get his cigs," I said getting up leaving my credit card with them.
"Nope, its on me," CC said handing my card back.
"No really you don’t have to,"Richelle said.
"I know I don’t have to, but I want to . it was a nice lunch and we don’t get to just hang out at lunch on tour. Go ahead and order Andy's food and I am going with Summer to get his cigs," CC said to Richelle and Macey getting up to head out with me.
"You really don’t have to go, I can get them there a store a block or so down," I commented.
"No, I want to keep you company . I don’t really feel like going back to the bus yet any way," CC shrugged.
“Ok cool, let's go," I smiled, "Hey Macey, just take my card after you all pay I will get it from you later."
"Ok, sounds good boss," She replied giving me googly eyes. You know it's funny. I would have ended up with Ashley and CC if it wasn’t for Ashley having to take a piss.
