Together We Will Be Unbroken

Dani's P.O.V.
"Beep. beep, beep", my alarm clock rang loudly. I reached over to hit the button to turn it off, and as I did I looked at the time, 6A.M. Time to get ready to go to the hell hole called school. Everyday is the same get up, get ready, go to school, deal with bullies and repeat the next day. There are only two things that have kept me from going insane, one is the music of my favorite band Black Veil Brides. The other is my best friend Steph, I don't know what I would do without her. So after I'm all showered I put on my usual make up black eye shadow, thick winged liner, and some mascara. Then I pick out my clothes for the day which are my red skinny jeans, BVB STWOF tank, and all black, high top converse. Then to accessorize my outfit I pull on my two favorite studded wristbands to cover my old scars, which by the way I am one year clean YAY!!!! And to ultimately finish it off my BVB penta charm necklace. Lastly I run a brush through my waist length red and black streaked hair, grab my books and walk to mine and Steph's meeting place.
As I'm walking to meet Steph I begin thinking how awesome this summer is going to be. The night after graduation Steph and I are going to a BVB concert, it also happens to be my 18th birthday. The tickets were an early gift from my parents, they also got us backstage passes so we get to meet them. I'm so glad I'm a senior because in two more weeks I won't have to deal with the insults and beatings from bullies anymore. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a voice calling out, "Hey Dani." I look up and see Steph waving at me I wave back then we begin walking to school. As we were walking Steph asks, "Are you looking forward to the concert?" I said, "Of course you don't even have to ask." "It's going to be really awesome to meet them", Steph says. I reply, "Yeah for sure." " I bet you're really excited to meet Andy since you're obsessed with him", Steph remarks teasingly. "Give me a break you're totally obsessed with Ashley", I comment back. She says, "Ok you got me there."
We walk into our daily torture chamber and immediately run into the wicked witches of Central Los Angeles High and their boyfriends. Monica, Tiffany, and Bridgette are the most popular girls in school and cheerleaders, big shocker there. Tony, Jason, and Michael are the school's best athletes. They get a huge kick out of torturing us just like their girls do. As usual the name calling starts Tony shouts out, "Emo sluts!" Then Michael says, Wrist cutters." Monica joins in saying, "Why do you guys bother showing up? No one likes you anyway. Tiffany and the others just laugh. They pick on us both but, I get it worse than Steph does. We shake it off and walk to our lockers. "Well that's over for now but they'll get me in gym", I say. Steph asks, "Have you tried switching to a different period?" I reply, "Of course but all the others were full. And it would be pointless with school almost over." Steph puts her hand on my shoulder and says, "Just two more weeks and we're rid of this place and them." I nod and we walk to class. Steph and I have our first two classes and lunch together but, third period gym I'm all alone on that one. DAMN IT!!!!!!
