Not gonna fight it

I can't believe I'm a dad. What's even more unbelievable is the fact that my daughter was beaten by her mother. How did I never know about my beautiful little girl.
"It'll be okay. I promise." Jayy says. I have been in this hospital for four hours waiting on someone to tell what's going on with Angelica. I nod and rest my head on his shoulder.
"Mr. Steininger?" A doctor in scrubs asks as he approaches us. I nod.
"Ms. Hope has suffered four broken ribs, a broken nose, a concussion, and when one of the ribs broke it pierced her lung. She has made it through surgery just fine although we'd like to keep her for a bit longer for observation and questioning from the police. Ms. Hope, is awake now. Please, don't cause too much excitement she's still weak. Her room number is 502B on the second floor." The doctor says and smiles.
"Thank you. I just found out she was my daughter. I wanna kill the woman that put her in here. Can my boyfriend come with me to visit her?" I ask standing. In my seven inch heels I towered over the doctor.
"Of course." He smiles. Nice to know he doesn't hate gays! Jayy takes my hand and leads me to my little girls room. We knock before entering. When Angelica sees me her face brightens.
"Oh, woah. You're Jeffree Star and Jayy Von Monroe." She says with a smile dancing across her lips. She is covered in bruises which only masks her beauty. I nod.
"Okay, so this isn't a dream. You saved me from my mother?" She winces as she shifts her body.
"Andrew and I did." I admit.
"Did my mother tell you?" Angelica asks with hope on her face.
"Tell me what?" I ask raising a brow. She visibly swallows.
"I'm your daughter." She says barely audible. I can't help it I laugh. Both she and Jayy look at me bewildered.
"Yes, she told me. I'm not laughing at that. I was laughing at how worried you sounded." I explain. Jayy rolls his eyes. He's used to me. Angelica smiles softly.
"So when you get out you're coming to live with me." I smile widely. She grins.
"I get to play both mommy and daddy!!!" I laugh giddily.
