A Work Of Art

(Maddeline's POV)-
I watched on as the ribbons of blood fell from his empty sockets, he no longer writhing in pain as he lay in a pool of his own scarlet blood. As I stood, there was a raven that flew above me in a formation, the only other thing that signaled life. No sounds, and no movements, everything was perfect.

After a stance that had lasted at least another ten minutes of watching the silent scene, I slowly pivoted and paced away from the wreckage that had been before me, knowing that I had done the right thing. The right thing in the name of Lucifer

As i continued to walk along the deserted streets, my mind was clear, I felt free, I felt that as if a burden had been lifted; well part of a burden anyway... Though my heart was still racing, but beginning to gain its normal rhythm from the slaughter I had just committed, my legs continued to carry me away as if nothing had ever happened.

There was so much more to do in the limited time I had as the earth disintegrated before the rest of the survivor's eyes.

Hey my fellow army members, this story is my first fanfiction so please be nice to me, though this first chapter is very very short, all of the other chapters will be longer. This chapter was just written to give any of you reading an idea of what the story is going to consist of, so please be patient and don't bag it out already because of the length of the chapter. The next chapter will be posted later tonight or mid way through tomorrow. As well as that, can any of you that have ready the first chapter of the story please give me feedback so i can hopefully improve my writing skills, and the story progression for you.
