we walked for what had to of been hours before i saw a door come into focus. max looked at me and knocked on the white door that appeared out of nothing. nobody answered. max looked a little frustrated and knocked again. nobody answered. he tried opening the knob but it was locked. i was getting worried something wasnt right when a man opened the door, he had black hair and had black wings and that was weird the guy had wings like angel wings, but they were black and that was a little alarming. he studied me for a moment before smiling at me and max, max seemed releived so i calmed down a little.

"we have another one?" the man asked.

"yep he took a while but we got him" max replied.

"well good" he turned to me and studied me again "your andy" he stated, how did this guy know my name i dont know him, he held his hand out to me for a handshake "im ashley nice to meet you" he stated i hesitantly shook his hand.
i mouthed hi to him because my voice was really quiet that it wasnt even a whisper.
he and max motioned for me to folow in the door where there was a room. ashley sat on the couch in the corner of the room and max stayed standing next to me.
'' you guys should talk to gee he likes to here of new arrivals he can help you guys with the whole wing situation" he said motioning to max, while i was confused with who Gee was and what the wing situation is, max seemed to know what he was talking about and lead me to another door on the other side of the room past ashley who waved at us.

we walked into another simalar room where there was a man sitting on a couch with black hair and hazel eyes. he looked up and smiled when he saw us, i noticed he had wings like ashley, which made me wonder why max didnt have them.
"hi im gerard" he said, i assumed gee was his nickname, i nodded. he looked at max.

"you found him, did you monitor him before you arrived?" gerard asked, i guessed he was kind of important here.
"yeah, i made sure he knew" max said looking intimidated.
"good now, andy" how did he know my fucking name!? "what was the last thing you remember we need the smallest details" he said looking very serious.
"um, i was in the hospital with my mom and i heard the heart monitor beep and now... this" i said motioning to the room and the general area, it was all that i remembered. he nodded and turned back to max a look of understanding passed between them like when your doctor has bad news and you know before they say it because they have a weird vibe. max nodded and looked a little dissapointed.
"sorry max but i guess you wont get your wings quite just yet" he said looking genuinly sorry before looking at me he looked a little shocked when he saw me though max looked at me too with the same expression i was confused did i have something on my face or something.
"what?" i asked starting to get worried. they just continued to stare.
