I Love You More Than I Can Ever Scream

I woke up with a major headache and a short memory of what happened last night. I started to move but then I heard a strange sound. It sounded like a... heartbeat. I looked to see that I was laying on some guys chest, and not just any guy, JAKE! I checked under the sheets and he still had his pants on. Thank God! I tried to get up but Jake up. AAAHHH! Jake fell off the bed taking me with him.

"Jake, what are you doing in my bed?!"

"You were drunk last night and wouldn't let me crash on your couch, and made me stay here with you."

'Wow I must have been really drunk.'

"Then why is your shirt off?"

"Because I got hot from you sleeping on top of me."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"It's ok."

We laid there for a few seconds until I remembered that I was still laying on top of him. I got up and Jake picked up his shirt in the process. I must have been really drunk last night. Then I noticed my dress from last night on the floor. Uh-oh!

"Um, Jake?"

"Yeah."

"You.. you didn't.. change me out of my dress.. did you?"

"Um, no. Actually you did that yourself."

"Hmm, that's good."

"Yeah."

"So umm you drove me and Ruby home last night?"

"Yeah. Jinxx had to take CC and Andy back to the hotel, so Ashley and I brought you two home."

"Ash is here?"

"Yeah."

"Where is he?"

"He-."

Jake stopped then got a worried look on his face. He started running to Ruby's room. He knocked on the door but no one answered. He continued to knock on the door for about 5 minutes then went into Ruby's room. We walked in to find Ashley asleep on Ruby's bed. Naked! What the hell happened between them last night? Jake went up to Ashley to wake him up, but then I looked around the room and there was no sign of Ruby anywhere. Ash stirred for awhile then opened his eyes which shot open as soon as he saw me. He yanked the sheets up to cover his... man parts.

"What... what are you doing here?" He asked

"I live here. What are you doing in Ruby's bed?"

"I-I was j-just.. umm." He was getting nervous, so I changed the subject.

"Where's Ruby?"

Ashley looked to his side to realize that Ruby wasn't in bed with him. He looked around then shrugged his shoulders. I left the room to let Ashley get his clothes on. I walked around the apartment looking for Ruby and/or Prue. I went to Prue's room to find her gone. Her bed was made so she either didn't come home last night or she left early this morning. I walked back into my room to put some clothes on. I put on a pair of ripped black skinny jeans, and a black tank top with a white cross on it . I pulled my hair back into a pony tail. I put Prue's token necklace, Ruby's cross earrings, Jinxx's bat neckalce, and Jake's necklace. (p.s. Bay will always wear these things for jewelry) I walked into the kitchen and made some breakfast for me and the guys.

They walked out of Ruby's room fully clothed and tired-looking. I made them french toast. We ate breakfast then sat down and watched tv for about 2 hours when Ruby walked through the door.

"Hey where have you been?" I asked

"Walking around." She replied.

Ruby looked at Ashley for a couple of seconds then went to the fridge to grab an ice pack from the fridge. She said nothing and went straight into her room. Ash sat down just stared at the ground. I'm surprised he's acting this way, unless.. he's got a thing for Ruby. My thoughts were interupted by a knock at the door. I opened the door to find Jinxx and a very hungover Andy and CC. They looked like hell.

"So how'd you sleep kido?" Jinxx asked. 'I hate it when he calls me kido'

"Fine." I glanced at Jake who got a scared expression on his face.

"How'd you two drunks sleep?" Jake asked Andy and CC

"Fucking awful." Andy whinned. CC had passed out on his shoulder.

I smiled and giggled a little bit, then I heard the lock on my door click. Prue walked in looking exhausted. She spent all night at the university?!

"Prue did you stay at the university all night?" Jinxx asked

"Yep. Stupid professors couldn't figure out the new grading techniques." She whinned.

"You should go to bed." I said getting up to take her bags.

Prue trudged to her room while I put her bags down on the floor behind our couch. The room was socially awkward for a while. Andy passed out too. Ash and Jake continued to watched tv, while Jinxx was staring at me with a confused look.

"Jinxx, are you ok?"

"I was just wondering where you got that blackheart neckalce. I've never seen it before."

"Oh, it was a birthday present from Jake."

"Oh."

For about 3 more hours the guys hung around then decided to head to the venue to start practicing for their show tonight. Ash seemed like he didnt want to leave, he wanted to see Ruby I guess. I walked over to him as they were leaving.

"Don't worry I'll talk to her for you." I whispered.

He smiled and walked out behind CC with Andy following him. Jinxx gave me a hug good-bye and left. Jake hugged me as well and gave me a kiss on the forehead before he walked out. What?! Jake kissed me? What happened last night that he won't tell me? I decided not to think about it. I went back to my room and decided to do laundry, dishes, and clean the apartment. At about 4 o'clock Ruby came out of her room. Now was my chance to get an answer about what happened between her and Ashley last night.

"Hey sleepy head, how'd sleep last night?" I asked.

"I didn't get much sleep last night I was... occupied."

"With what?"

"Nothing, just forget it."

"Umm... Ruby... This morning Jake and I saw Ash asleep in your bed... naked. Did something happen between you two last night?"

"What?! No... I-It's just... *sigh* look what happened between me and Ash last night was nothing. I was just trying to get over Toby."

"So you used a nice guy like Ash, to forget about your piece of shit ex-boyfriend? Ruby that's awful!"

"Why should it matter, Ashley sleeps with women all the time and doesn't give a fuck."

"It matters cause I think Ashley likes you. When you walked through the door this morning, he seemed really anxious."

"Really... I mean... nevermind it doesn't matter."

Prue walked in and Ruby shut up about what we were talking about cause she probably didnt want Prue involved. Prue got a call from mom saying that we were going to be having supper with them again tonight since tomorrow is the boys last day in town until they have to go to Ohio. As we were getting ready Ruby got a call from someone and hurried out thet door saying that she'd meet up with us later.

Prue wore a blue flanel shirt that matched her eyes, and wore some white skinny jeans and a pair of black vans. She looked so beautiful. I wore blue lacey tank top, black skinny jeans, and black boots along with my usual jewelry, and we both had our hair pulled into ponytails. We got to the house about an hour and a half before dinner so Prue helped mom in the kitchen and I sat down with my dad and the guys watching a game. As we got up and walked over to the table I felt someone grab my arm and pull me into the hallway. Ashley.

"So... um... di-did you talk to her?"

"Yeah."

"And?"

"She... It.... *sigh*... she's still trying to get over Toby Ash, she needs space right now."

Ash had a hurt look in his eyes. He said nothing and walked into the dinning room. Poor Ashley. I walked into the dinning room and sat between Prue and Jake. My mother, Prue, and Jinxx served the food and we began our small talk. My dad was interested by Andy and CC's hangover story. Mom was talking to my brother and sister discussing wedding things. As for Jake, Ash, and myself... we sat in silence. The small talk went on for a few more minutes when the doorbell rang. I immediatley sttod up and walked to the door. The doorbell kept ringing and ringing, and then there was pounding on the door. 'Who the hell could this be?' I opened the door to find Ruby and ... Toby?!

"What the hell are you doing here Toby?"

"Taking my looooooooooovely girlfriend to dinnerrrrrr." 'Oh my god, is he high?!'

"She is not your girlfriend you asshole, get the fuck away from her!"

"It's ok Bay. Toby texted me and was all like heeeeeeey I wanna makeup, so I went over to his place, we had some awwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeesome sex and we drove her for dinner."

'Are you fucking kidding me?! Ruby's high too?!'

"Are you guys high?" I whisper

"OF COURSE WE'RE NOT HIGH BAY WHY WOULD YOU ASK SUCH A STUUUUUUUUUUUUPID QUESTION!" Ruby shouted making everyone tune their attention to us.

Jinxx got up and walked up to the front door and stood right next to me. He dragged Toby outside while Prue and I took Ruby into the kitchen to try to bring back down to earth. We decided to give her some advil and lay her down to sleep... well actually she passed out as soon as her head hit the pillow. I decided to go check up on Toby and Jinxx, but by the time I got to the front door I heard them fighting. I ran outside and noticed Toby already had a black eye and a fat lip. Jinxx had a bloody nose and also a fat lip. Toby tackled Jinxx in the front yard and started beating the shit out of him. When I tried to pull Toby off my brother his fist came up and punched me right in my jaw causing me to fly back and hit my head on the ground causing me to scream a bit. I sat up and looked down at my hand that held my head up and there was blood on it! CC, Andy, and Ashley pulled Toby off of Jinxx and Toby got in his car and drove off. Jinxx was ok. Jake and Prue knelt down next to me. Jake held me while Prue was rubbing my back then she noticed the blood on my hands.

"We got to get her to the hospital. Mom, dad, stay here with Ruby. I've got to get Bay to the hospital."

Jake picked me up and carried me to Prue's car. He sat in the back seat with Jinxx. My head rest on jake's lap while Jinxx rubbed my back. CC got in the front and Andy and Ashley stayed behind to take care of Ruby.
