I Love You More Than I Can Ever Scream
It All Begins Now
I awoke to the screaming sound of my alarm clock saying it's 9 o'clock and that I have to go to work. Once I rolled out of bed, I headed to tthe bathroom to shower. I shut the door and started the shower, but before I could get in someone knocked on the bathroom door.
"Bay, you in there?" It was my sister Prue.
"Yeah Prue, I'm in here." I replied.
"Ok, hey I just talked to Ruby, do you guys want a ride to work?"
"Sure that would be great, thanks Prue."
"No Problem"
Once I heard Prue's footsteps fade away I got into the shower. When I finished my shower I got out my uniform for work. A pair of black work pants and a navy blue shirt that said 'Robby's Diner'. As soon as I was in my uniform I puuled my hair back into a ponytail and walked into my living room which was connected to the kitchen. Prue and my best friend Ruby, who was wearing the same uniform as me, were waiting for me.
"Hey goregous, you ready for work." Ruby said with her shining smile.
"You know it." I smiled sarcastically.
With that said, Prue handed me a cup of coffee and we headed for the diner. Once we were on the road Ruby began another one of her stories about her and her boyfriend Toby. But I paid no attention, all I could think about was how shitty my life is right now. This is what comes to mind.
My name is Baylin Ferguson (I knoe right nice name), everyone calls me Bay. I am 23-years-old, I have two siblings, my oldest sister is Pruedence, Prue for short, and my older brother is Jeremy but everyone knows him as Jinxx from Black Veil Brides. I live in a crappy apartment with my sister and my best friend Ruby Morris who I've known since 3rd grade in Des Moines, Iowa. Finally I have a job at a shitty diner. So yeah, my life is literally a fucking hell. We finally got to the diner and Ruby finally shut up about Toby.
"Bay, mom called me this morning. She said that Jinxx is in town and is stopping by the house to see us so do you want me to pick you up right after work?" Prue asked.
I looked at Ruby with concerned eyes, then she replied.
"Don't worry Bay, Toby's picking me up after work for our anniversary dinner tonight."
"Ok Prue, my shift ends at three." I told her.
"Ok. Bye you two see ya later." Then she drove away
After Prue left, Ruby and I walked into the diner, grabbed our aprons and notepads and went straight to work.
We were on our lunch break finally so Ruby and I eat in the kitchen.
"I hope Prue takes me back to the apartment before we go to my parents house."
"Why, why don't you just wear your uniform to go see him, he's just your brother."
"Because Ru, Jinxx is a huge rockstar living in L.A. with his fiance, Prue is a college graduate who works at the university, and then theres me, their baby sister who never went to college, lives in a shitty apartment with her big sister and best friend and on top of that I work in the most fucked up diner in the entire state."
"That is a good point."
Our lunch breaks ended so Ruby and I went back to work. But she was right, I didn't care if Jinxx saw me in my uniform, but I know that he won't be the only one I will be seeing tonight. Jinxx has been on tour with his band and when ever they visit, the entire group goes together, including Jake. For a long time now I've had feelings for Jake. Everytime I walk into the same room as him I get all heated up and nervous. My thing for Jake is pretty huge and the only people who know are Prue anbd Jinxx. I told Jinxx on accident when I got drunk once, but he promised to not tell anyone. I never told Ruby because I know that if I do tell her she will ruin things. Even though I know that Jake would never be with me in a millin years.
"Excuse me miss, I would like to order please." A customer was demanding my attention.
"Hello my name is Bay, may I take your order."I said with my waitressing voice.
The man looked at me like a child would look at a brand new piece of candy. He eyed up and down my body which mad eme feel uncomfortable.
"Yes, Bay, I will have the Swiss mushroom hamburger, medium." The man said.
"Ok then, I will be back with your order sir."
"Please, call me Byron." He smiled at me
With that I walked to the kitchen, on my way there Ruby stopped me.
"Holy Shit Bay that guy is checking out your ass!" She wispered.
"I know he was hitting on me earlier, he kept looking at me like I was a stripper."
"Oh My God that's disgusting!"
"FERGUSON, MORRIS! We have customers waiting." It was our boss Robby Roberts, he owned the diner.
"Sorry Mr.Roberts. Won't happen again." I apologized

As soon as our shifts ended, Ruby and I headed for the parking lot where Prue and Toby were parked.
"Hey baby, I missed you so much." Ruby said to Toby as she sucked on his face.
"Bye Ruby have fun tonight." I said, she didn't agknowledge me.
"Bye you two have fun tonight." Prue said as she pulled out.
As we drove back to the apartement Prue kept looking at me and smileing.
"What's with the creepy smile sis?"
"Nothing, I was just wondering what you were going to wear tonight to impress Jake." She teased
I smiled and thought about it myself, but I knew I shouldn't over do it.
"I don't know, then again why should I?'
"What do you mean hunnie?"
"What's the god damn piont of trying to impress Jake, if he doesn't even like me?"
"Bay, I know that somewhere inside of him, Jake really likes you, don't give up on him, follow your heart not your head."
I smiled at Prue thanking her for the words of wisdom. That's the one thing I love about Prue, no matter she's always there for me when I need her. What would I do without her.
As soon as we got to the apartment, I got back into the shower then ran to my room and threw my clothes everywhere looking for an outfit for tonight. After about 20 minutes of looking at everything, I decided on a purple and black hoodie, torn-up black skinny jeans and my favorite black lacy boots. I also wore the cross necklace Jake gave me for my birthday last year. HOLY SHIT! I had completely forgot that my birthday was in two days. Wow!
Just as soon as I realized my birthday's coming up, Prue and I got back in her car and began to drive to our parent's house. I was so nervous that just the thought of seeing Jake again was making me shake. I can't wait to see him again I just hope he'll be happy to see me.
"Bay, you in there?" It was my sister Prue.
"Yeah Prue, I'm in here." I replied.
