Every story has an ending. Well, that's how it is supposed to be

Why me?

~Shiru's POV~

When I woke up a second time it was 1pm. ''Shit'', I muttered to myself. The concert was at 4pm, so I've got only three hours to get ready. I showered, brushed my hair and did all the things one usually does in the morning. Except breakfast. I wanted to try the new diner around the corner and so I walked out with my cellphone and keys in my bag and when I got there, I looked through the menu and decided on my standard breakfast: sandwich and a coffee. Haha, so much for trying something new. When I finished I looked at my phone to see it was already 3pm! ''Holy shit!'', I thought, because although the concert isn't that far away, it takes some time to get there. I ran out of the diner and walked to the venue as fast as I could. When I got there I took a deep breath of relief as I realized that I arrived just in time.

The crowed was really big and they all talked, cheered and screamed. And as BvB went on the stage it got even louder. If I wasn't deaf before I as sure as hell was now. They began with all their songs of the album ''wretched and divine'' and sang a few older songs like ''knives and pens'' and ''perfect weapon'' after that. With ''youth and whiskey'' they said good night and went off the stage to greet a few lucky people, who got a backstage ticket.

I went out and made my way back to my apartment. It was 6pm and the sun was still shining thanks to it beeing summer, but... A few minutes after I left the venue I felt someone looking at me. I slowly turned around, but there was nothing. ''It couldn't be, could it?'', I thought and shrugged it off. No way in hell ''shadows'' could be in the city. Not at daytime! I continued walking, this time a little faster, but the feeling of beeing watched returned and this time I couldn't ignore it anymore. I turned into an empty ally, which I didn't use that often, but was kind of a little shortcut. In the middle of this ally I stopped. The feeling of something being near me got stronger. And my heartbeat got a little faster. I wasn't really scared. I don't know why, maybe because the sun shone bright or because I could hear the cars running through the city, or it was simply because of the people chatting and laughing on the sidewalks and cafes.

Still, the ally was empty and no one would notice if something happened in here. I turned around, looking behind and beside me. Nothing. I looked up, only a few windows on the sides of the two buildings to my left and right. ''I must become crazy'', I thought and chuckled a little bit, while looking down. And there it was. The thing I was looking for with it's eyes opened wide, staring straight at me and I screamed, jumped and tried to run away, but the shadow was faster. It grabbed my ankle causing me to fall down. I tried to see where it was and it was like a cloud. Flying slightly above the ground only a few feets away. It's contours not definable. It became bigger and taller. Slowly filling up the ally and trapping me in it. But when I thought I was about to get killed, I heard a melody. As if there was someone playing his violin. My sight got darker and I knew, soon I would be in the endless dreamland. The last thing I saw was the shadow becoming smaller and a figure standing a little further away, then I saw and heard nothing.

Notes

Chapter edited. As before: Not perfect, but I guess I'll be able to work with it. But if I will seriously continue the story until the end depends on the feedback, because it doesn't make sense for me to work hard and try to do good when no one really appreciates it ;) you know what I mean?

For english not being your first language this is fantastic! I can't wait to see what happens, this is a very original take on fear.
