Every story has an ending. Well, that's how it is supposed to be

I want to tell you a little story. My story. To begin with: I'm Shiru and 19 years old. I live in Los Angeles. One of the last cities that aren't effected by war. A war which's end doesn't seem good for the human's side. But back to my story. It will take a while, so please take a seat and enjoy yourself.

First of all there are two things i hate in this world. First: The darkness. Although I feel save in it, it's still scary, because enemys don't see me, but I can't see them, too. Meaning it's something ensuring safety and still being one of the most dangerous things I know. Second: Demons. They are shadows. Yeah, you heard right. Shadows. Born from the pain, sadness and death brought upon us humans. As you see. My world is a little different, but don't worry. The only difference is that we've got those damn demons here. And the worst thing is that the only way to defend yourself from those 'shadows' ... well... is to become one yourself. Yeah, we can become shadows, we humans. But it's not that easy. well... how should I explain it, so you can understand it. As i said those shadows are born from our pain, sadness and such. Means: when someone suffers enough somewhere a shadow is born. What most of the people don't know, is that those shadows were once a part of us. They were always there. Somewhere deep down in our hearts. Waiting for the right moment. And when the biggest war that this world has ever seen broke out, they did, too. But back to the explanation how to gain the power of a shadow. The only thing you have to do is either acknowledge all of you and your feelings. Not only the good ones, but the bad ones, too. or you try to feel nothing. Well... That's how you gain their powers. You wonder what powers I'm speaking about, don't you? I expierenced them once. I saw them only once. Taking away all of what was important to me. Making me feel empty and shattered into thousand little pieces. And trust me. While I am telling the story, you will understand what powers I am talking about without me talking about one of the most painful memories I have.

And yes... I found this out while I was still on my adventure. Trying to escape something I didn't know of.
