Scarlett's Life with the Band

Scarlett's POV: Mom asked Andy to drop me off that day. He wanted to come with me for some reason but I didn't want to be embarrassed if I was walked in like a baby. I'm in Pre-K and it was my first day at school. I also knew that the girls would run away screaming at his appearance. He handed me my Cat in the Hat backpack and he walked me to my classroom without my opinion. The kids looked at him with curiosity, and some with disgust. He walked away when we reached the classroom. The other kids were doing what is called Center Time. I clutched the door and didn't get off. Mrs K, my assistant teacher said "Scarlett, why don't you go and have center?" and I just wildly shook my head as to say no. I finally got the nerve to walk up to every kid and ask if they wanted to be my friend. A girl named Elizabeth said Ewww no! You're wearing BOY clothes! And I remember a boy named Matthew and just said flat out no. The last boy, Joseph said yes and he left the blocks and we became friends. Later at recess we decided that we were going to get married. After school, the entire BlackVeilBrides picked me up and they asked me how my day went and I told them that I was getting married to Joseph. He kept that idea shorter than I did. It took me the whole year. The only other memory I have of being four was talking to my brother about school and feeling like it would take forever for my birthday to come. I was just looking at the December calendar and the blue and white snowflakes with the date on it. I also remember a girl named Shannon and she bullied me and I came home crying every day that she did.
