Angels and Saviors and Whatnot

You're Giving Us What?

Alli’s POV

“Andy, what exactly did you do to get yourself thrown down here?” I was amazed at what I was seeing. Andy was glowing, literally glowing, with a halo of light around his entire body. His wings had changed from soot black to ivory white and Ashley was saying that “God had forgiven” him and now he’s going back up into Heaven.

“I might have broken a few rules,” he said, his body still luminous. He looked at me and smiled, that awkward smile that had gotten me through tough nights. He looked up and a bolt of lightning shot down from the night sky, breaking through Andy’s ceiling. It took Andy off the ground, lifting him up into the starry sky. Another bolt of lightning and the same thing was happening to Ashley. He was lifted up and taken away in a matter of seconds.

CC came racing up the stairs and burst through the door. His eye was bruised and he looked like shit. He took one look at the ceiling and his eyes got wide, along with a gasp and a dramatic fall onto the floor.

“What the hell is going on?” He looked to me with a wild face and pointed to the ceiling like I hadn’t already seen the major damage done to the room.

“Andy is an Angel. God is inviting him back into Heaven.” I looked at him with a solemn expression and another bolt of lightning struck down from the dark sky. It wrapped around my body like a warm hug from my mother and lightly scooped me up. It carried me through the hole in the ceiling and with a flash of swirling colors, a bright light was shining and I was standing in the middle of a crowd of winged people.

Angels. I was in Heaven.

The floor was marble, the pretty type of marble that was white with gold specks that sparkled when the light hit it properly. There was a light fog hanging around the marble, and everything in sight had a golden accent. The columns, the stairs, the platforms, everything was ivory and gold. The Angels, all of them, were in white robes with golden belts and shoes. My eyes finally landed on Andy, who also had a robe on. His hair was teased high and had a blonde streak in the front. He was facing the crowd of Angels on a high platform with a smirk on his snake bit lips, and he blew a kiss in my direction.

“Andrew!” A booming voice came out through the hall clear and strong, making everyone’s head snap in the direction of the front of the room.

“Andrew, my son, I have called you here tonight to request your presence in Heaven. Your mistake has been forgiven, and you have finally found your soul mate.”

“Hey, what’d I miss?” I heard Ashley say next to me. He was drying his hands on his new robe and I figured he had been in the bathroom. His black wings were sticking out against the mass of white ones, and with his black hair, he truly looked like he didn’t belong.

“Someone is saying that he wants Andy back in Heaven,” I whispered. I looked to him and giggled when I saw his ‘Are you stupid?’ face.

“That’s God. He’s forgiven Andy for what he did to get himself into this mess. I was sent down here to look after him, I was lucky I found him so easily on the day Devon and his pussies decided to pick on you two and Sandy.” He looked to me and smiled, his brown eyes shining in the light.

“Sir,” Andy said, “I would like my soul mate to be right here, by my side, for this special moment. Would that be okay?” He looked to me and smiled, his pale skin looking even paler in the bright lighting.

“Bring her here, I would like to see her for myself, the deep voice said.

The Angels parted the crowd to where I was in the center of the room. I stood there awkwardly and smiled, waving my hand slightly. I knew I stood out with my light blue and purple hair, my black Motley Crue t-shirt and red ripped up skinny jeans. I saw Andy motion for me to come up to where he was and I shook my head, stepping back slightly. I hated being the center of attention, and Andy knew that.

“Allison, come on, we’re not getting any younger here,” he said, laughing a little. He held out a hand I walked up to the platform, taking his hand. He pulled me up with ease and I steadied myself from falling over.

I stood face to face with a golden throne, with a person, most likely God, sitting down with both hands resting on the arms of the throne. I couldn’t see his face, it was blocked out by the insanely bright halo around his forehead. But I knew, I shouldn’t disrespect this man or….whatever he was.

“Allison Creeves. You have made my Andrew into a better person. You truly love him. I can see it in your heart.” God’s voice was loud and deep, deeper than Andy’s and it made me smile. I looked up at Andy with bright eyes and he smiled down at me, lacing his fingers in between my own.

“You have shown him what it means to be in pain. To be in love. To have faith in his friends. No other person but you could have done that. I am proud you Allison. Not only have you shown my son Andrew, but you have shown another very important person what it means to be alive. Christian Coma has been in the sight of Satan far too long.”

Another bolt of lightning and CC was standing next to me. His eye was no longer banged up and he looked like he did in high school. His body was nourished, his hair was teased, clean and healthy, and his clothing was no longer ripped. He looked around and took a deep breath, sucking in as much air as he could. He let it out slow and looked around, his jaw hitting on the floor.

“Close your mouth, you’ll catch flies,” I said, closing his jaw with my finger. He gave me the evil eye and turned to face the enlightened figure sitting on the gold throne.

“Why am I here? What have I done to be here?” He looked around again and gasped. “Am I dead?”

“Christian, my son,” God started, “I have called you here to give you something very important. Along with Alison and all of your friends.” I looked to Andy and he smiled, wiggling his eyebrows.

Three more lightning strikes and Stephanie, Jake, and Jinxx appeared next to CC. Stephanie looked around and met my eyes. She looked down, in what looked like shame, and picked at her long nails. Ashley’s long black wings and hair had a weird glow to them in the bright lights of the hall, along with Jinxx and Jake’s hair as well. They were dressed very similar, make-shift Black Veil Brides t-shirts, black jeans and red shoes.

Stephanie was dressed in the usual Stephanie clothing. Designer blouse, designer skirt, designer shoes, and basically designer everything. I could make out the big brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Chanel.

But, up there on the platform, the only one who looked like they truly belonged was….no one. Everyone was different compared to the crowd of blonde haired blue eyed Angels. Andy with his teased, raven black hair. CC with his band shirt and skinnies, Jake and Jinxx with their matching outfits, Stephanie with her designer clothing. And myself. I had purple and blue hair, a Motley Crue shirt, red jeans and black shoes. We were all Outcasts, and none of us were ashamed of it anymore.

“My sons and daughters, I have brought you here today to witness the forgiveness of an Angel. Andrew Dennis Biersack has earned his right to come live with us again. Your disappointing deed has been over looked, and no longer will you be looked upon as a shame.”

“Uh, Mister… God, Sir, may I ask what Andy did to be cast down from Heaven?” I asked quietly. Even though I was speaking just above a whisper, my voice travelled through the room and it sounded like I was talking rather loudly.

“He did not tell you? Andrew was always a rebel. I knew that from the start. When he was small, about 1,100 years old, or for you, 11 years old, he did the unthinkable. He started to disrespect his parents and his school teachers. He broke two of our very strict rules, and then he broke a third. He told me, one infamous day, that he suddenly didn’t believe. He had lost his faith. He was, how did you say, bored, up here in Heaven. So, I cast him down, to let his see how life was down on Earth.”

“It’s a living hell, that’s for sure,” I whispered, looking down and awkwardly folding my hands as I did so.

“Allison, my dear, it was a blessing that you found my Andrew. Without you, he would still be lost in his ways. You pulled him out a dark hole, my daughter. You have suffered great losses for his sake and I cannot thank you enough. In fact, Sandra, dear, come up and reunite with your friend. I’m sure she misses you greatly.”

“Wait, what? She’s here?” I looked around and couldn’t find my best friend, probably because the Angel moving towards me was blonde and actually had eyes. Sandra looked amazing, better than she did when I last saw her. Her skin was tan and her hair was golden blonde. Jeez, Heaven must have a thing for the color gold. She wasn’t wearing sunglasses but she was wearing the standard robe and hold belt around her waist. She looked, brilliant, and I missed her so much.

“Sandy!” I ran to her and hugged her as tight as I could without suffocating her. “Sandy, I’ve missed you much!”

“And I’ve missed you too! You know I’ve been up here for 300 years?”

“But it’s only been, like, a week,” I said, confused. Did time move faster up here?

“My children,” God said, grabbing our attention, “I have gifts to bestow upon you.” A hand moved from the arm of the throne up into the air and he snapped his fingers. The gasps of hundreds of Angels filled the hall and the four of us without robes on felt out back grow heavier. We looked over our shoulders and found a pair of ivory white wings attached to our shoulder blades.

“You mean…?” Jake asked breathlessly. “You mean we’re Angels now?”

“My children, I present to you, the new, improved, Black Veil Brides!” God said, and he stood and turned the seven teenagers towards the crowd of rejoicing Angels. “You will treat them with the upmost respect, and the three Angels here will be here to look after you. Andrew, welcome home.”

“Father, will Allison be able to join me here? Will she be able to live her life with me?” Andy asked, his deep voice echoing through the hall.

“Andrew, mortals are not allowed to live in Heaven. You know this.”

“Then I don’t want to stay here. I would rather be with my soul mate, down on Earth, if you please, Father,” he said, wrapping a strong arm around my torso. I smiled up at him and removed his arm.

“You need to stay here, Andy. This is where you belong. And I belong down on Earth, just like Jinxx and Jake.” I tried to smile at him, but his ‘I’m going to cry’ face was lacing his features and I felt horrible.

“I can’t live without you Alli Cat. I need you in my life, Please Father, I’d like to stay with my soul mate. I know it would be defying what you want, but, really, since when do I ever do what someone wants?” He laughed slightly and looked to his fellow band members.

“Sandy I miss you,” he said. “I miss you so much. Although I’m so glad I don’t have to hide who or what I am around you guys anymore.” He smiled and gave the guys a thumbs up.

“You know, Andy, you look good in a dress,” I teased, nudging his ribs with my elbow. He laughed and swooped down to grab my legs right behind my knees. He held me there, bridal style, and just stared at me with his big blue eyes. “But you look even better in leather,” I added, kissing his cheek.

“You look so good here in my arms. And, look, you have wings now,” he said with a smile.

“My children, I have made a decision. If you want to stay here, fantastic. If not, you may live your life on Earth and find your soul mates. Each and every one of you has one down there, and it is your mission to find her. Allison Catharine Creeves, I give you my gratitude and thanks.” God’s deep voice vibrated through my body and I shivered. I tried to move my new wings and found that I could do so with ease, with a little bit of trying at first. Andy let me down when he saw me struggling and I faced God.

“It’s an honor, sir. Thank you for my gift. I will cherish these forever,” I said with a bright smile. I held out my left hand and motioned for Andy to take it. I looked to my right and held out my hand for CC to take and so on. Soon, the seven people who belonged on Earth, yes, including Stephanie, were holding hands and facing the crowd.

"Children! I speak unto you! These are my children too! You will support whatever choice they make!” God said. “So Andrew, what is your choice?”

“I’d like to stay on Earth, Father. Not just for Alli, but for my fans too. I’ve helped so many people come out of the dark hole I was once in, and I feel it’s only right to continue to carry them. I will come home when the time is right Father,” Andy said strongly. He smiled down at me and winked, letting me know that he would be around for a little while longer.

“Then it is done. Andrew, good luck down there. Continue your legacy in peace.” God moved to sit on his throne and he added,

“Rock out down there.”
