Miles and miles away.

*Des's point of view*


I nibbled on a peach as we drove down the road. My legs rested on Andy's lap. His free hand rested on the middle of my shin. We had The Pretty Reckless going to hell album blasting in the car. I pulled out my phone because there was perfect selfie light. But I'm not taking a picture of my trash can face but Andy's perfect face. When I turned the camera to him, he noticed me and gave me an evil look.
"HOW DARE YE TAKETH A PICTURE OF ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?!....eth."He yelled with a medieval voice.
I started laughing, "Oh my god! You're so weird! God I love you!"
He smiled at me with his signature milky white smile then kissed the back of my hand,"I love you too. And our family." I leaned in and kissed him then he put his focus back on the road.
I opened Instagram and without thinking I uploaded a selfie in the awesome lighting. But to my surprise it was just my fans being awesome and being super nice. Fucking finally no more assholes. I smiled and put my phone in my pocket.

We pulled up to the bus and got the address from Tina for the hotel in Atlanta. We buckled the kids in and drove off. I need bonding time with the girls.
The bus stopped in a small town called Macon. It was only an hour and some change away from Atlanta so we thought it would be a good time for family bonding. we stopped at a Dairy Queen round mid way into the drive. Zooey refused to eat her ice cream normally she just banged her spoon on the table and fingered her sundae. We just let her do that. She'll tire out and it would be easy to clean and change her in the bathroom. Charlie licked her cone and cuddled up at my side. I smiled. I'm really glad she's already come to like me in such a short period of time.
Charlie and Zooey both feel asleep. We carried them back to the car and buckled them in. I smiled over at Andy.
"Charlie really likes me. So does Zooey. Do you understand how happy that makes me?" I whispered.
He kissed my forehead, "I know. It makes me happy too. Our family is just perfect. "
He started the car and began back down the highway. Then everything was a fuzzy mess. There was some kind of impact but I can't remember from what side, my body was just kinda numb. I felt some kinda of tumble and smashing. I still had my vision and I saw everyone out cold and cut up.
A person, they were kind of scratched up but other wise fine, came up to my side of the car and said "Bye bye whore." Then walked off. that's when I blacked out.
