Smoke and Mirrors

Andy's POV
"I will." I turned towards Jinxx, not really expecting anyone to offer, it was just a joke. He looked at Jake. "We were trying to tell you, Nichole is the bad guy here, not Ashley."
"So now they brainwashed you too, huh Andy?"
"No. Jinxx told me what really happened that day. I have a feeling he wasn't supposed to." I looked at Jinxx and Ashley, and they nodded.
"Yeah. She threatened us."
"I still don't believe it." Jinxx sighed.
"Fine. I was hoping I wouldn't have to use this." He pulled out his phone and went through it for a while. he held it out to Jake and he took it. I heard Nichole's voice, but not what she was saying. All the same I felt my teeth grind together. I looked at Ashley and he had a murderous look on his face. I took his hand and he looked at me, calming down a little. Jake sighed.
"Hard to argue now." He gave Jinxx his phone back.
"Jinxx?" He looked over at me. "What was that?"
"A video I took at the time. It was your idea, so if I needed more convincing towards you, I would have it. It's like you knew you would forget." I nodded. I vaguely remember something along those lines. "Now we just gotta convince CC."
"That's easier said then done..." I squirmed a bit. "He thinks Ashley is the bad guy and is lying about Nichole." Suddenly, CC walked in, yawning.
“What’s up?” He took in Ashley and I holding hands and suddenly seemed really pissed. “What the hell?”
“CC, hear us out.”
“Why should I?”
‘Because it’s true, ok?”
“Not you too Jake!”
“Jinxx?”
“Yeah. It’s already up.” He handed CC his phone. CC just ignored him.
“Come on, C. Just hear us out, ok?” He sighed and took the phone.
“Fine.” He watched the video, and seemed to get more and more crestfallen with every second of it. “No.” He whispered. He started to break down crying.
“CC? What’s wrong, man?” I stood up and hugged him.
“I…I loved her.”
