Smoke and Mirrors

Ashley's POV
Wait...this bitch isn't serious...is she? I was holding Andy back because he seemed very pissed.
"No way in hell! Ashy is mine and there is nothing, nothing at all that can come between us!" There it is again. That nickname. Ashy.
"Andy, Andy, Andy. How sad it is that you believe you can have both the band and your precious relationship with Ashley."
"What do you mean by that?" I glared at her.
"I mean that if you boys don't do what I say, I might have a little video that could ruin you." I saw Jinxx come up from behind her with something raised above his head. So that’s where he had been. I could already guess his plan so I nudged Andy and looked away from Jinxx.
"And what exactly would that be?" Andy hissed through his teeth. She sighed.
"It’s really annoying when you guys go back and forth talking like that. Remember when we used to do that, A.P? What did happen between us?"
"As I recall you said I wasn't quite returning your feelings enough and it hurt you to love me. After that, you never spoke to me again. Do you understand how much that hurt me!? Huh?!" I lunged for her, but this time it was Andy holding me back.
"Let Jinxx do what he has to do, Ashy." I tried to calm down, but it was impossible. This girl hurt me in the worst way possible. I never forgave her, and I never will forgive her. That's when Jinxx made his move. He raised whatever it was higher above his head then brought it down. It would have been perfect if Nicole hadn't sidestepped, grabbed his arm, and swung him to the ground. Andy and I stood there in shock, and then Jinxx started to gasp for breath.
"Jinxx!" Andy ran to Jinxx's side, and I started to shake with fury.
"You...You fucking bitch!" I lunged and grabbed her throat. She just smiled.
“A.P. How did you know I like being chocked?” I let her go, disgust written on my face.
“What do you want?” I growled. She sighed.
“You forget again?” I looked at her confused. She sighed again. “I slipped you guys something that makes you forget everything and you’re here to get the reverse drug. But, I want you and Andy’s relationship to be over. Jinxx tried to hit me on the head with a bottle, possibly to knock me out, but I slammed him to the ground. And now we are at this point. Now, you and Andy are over and you get with me secretly or else this goes viral.” She then hit play on a video camera she had, and I saw…her…from our high school days. Man. I got a bad feeling about this. Suddenly, I came in. You could tell I had no idea the camera was even there. She stopped it before it got to…graphic. “Me and you in the old days. I recorded us having sex once. I do it with all my boyfriends in case I ever need revenge. And now I do.”
“Ashley,” I turned to Jinxx, who, with Andy’s help, had sat up. I walked over to him.
“Don’t talk. We’ll call an ambulance.” He shook his head.
“I’m fine. Listen. Do what she says.” I looked at him, shocked, but then saw something in his eyes. I looked at Andy, and he looked at me and nodded. I sat up straighter. I knew this would hurt, but I had to. I stood up and faced Nicole.
“Fine. Andy and I are over, and I will have a secret relationship with you. But, you must know, I’m only doing this for the band, the Army, and for Andy. Not you.” She smiled.
“It doesn’t matter. I have you back, and I don’t care about the rest.” She reached into her pocket and pulled out some pills. She took my hand and dropped them in. “There. I will text you the details of our next meeting. See you soon, A.P.” She then leaned in and kissed me, but I didn’t kiss her back. She pulled away and pouted. “Next time you don’t kiss me back, I will make sure the video goes viral. Bye!” She hopped in her car and drove off. I looked at the pills, took one, and handed the other to Andy.
“Here” He took it, and we helped Jinxx into Andy’s car. I took Jinxx’s keys, and drove his car home. On the way, I couldn’t stop replaying what I remembered in my head. Soon, I had to pull over because I was crying so hard I couldn’t see.
