Let me set your world on fire

"Jake, when Ella came and you were yelling, what were you yelling about?"

My heart froze, my hand on the doorknob refusing to turn as CC's question hit home. "Uhhh." I started, unsure of how to answer it.
"The longer you hesitate Jake, the stronger I feel that you don't really love me." CC replied, causing my heart to pound.
"Look, CC, you know I love you, you just... might not wanna hear this right now." I replied as the memories flashed through my mind.
"I might." He muttered, a hurt look crossing his face as he stepped closer.
"Fine.... Look, here's what happened....." I started.

'I stood facing Ella, my heart pounding as she slagged off CC, calling him a whore among other derogatory names. "Fuck you bitch!" I hissed as she walked closer to me. "You have not right to call him a whore when you're the slag that fucked on of my friends!" She looked shocked. "Yeah, that's right honey, I know all about you and Ashley."
"But it meant nothing." She snapped back.
"I don't care if it meant nothing. All I care is that you're trying to get me to feel bad by fucking my friends and it isn't going to work. I will never feel bad for what happened with us. In fact, I'm more than glad it's over."
"So I was nothing to you?" She asked, genuine hurt crossing her face.
"You were at one point, just not anymore. I love CC and that's all that matters. I would do anything for him." I explained. Ella kept taking steps closer until her body was pressed against mine, her hands roaming. "Get you're fucking hands off me." I snapped as I grabbed her wrists and pulled her hands off of my skin. "I can't believe you still haven't gotten the message. I. DON'T. LOVE. YOU!"
"But Jakey, I can give you more than he ever will. I can give you children." Ella pleaded, her eyes begging me to take her back.
"No Ella. I'm more than willing to sacrifice children because I love CC." I paused, adding "I always will" on the end in a muttered voice.
"Fine." She hissed before kneeing me in the crotch and leaving.'

"You see CC, that was it. Nothing would have happened that would make me hate you, or leave you or do anything with that bitch. I love you CC, only you." I took a step towards him, wrapping my arms around his waist before placing my head on his chest, CC's heartbeat calming me.
"I love you too Jakey. I really do." CC muttered.
"I know this is crazy, but I really wanna spend the rest of my life with you, like every day." I muttered, looking up at CC, a small smile spreading across his lips.
"Sometimes I have the same feeling Jake." He smiled. I leant up and kissed him, a passionate kiss, not one that sought domincance from either of us, one that conveyed the pure love we felt for each other.
