I get out of my bunk tiredly. It's almost nine at night. Fuck Juliet. I don't need her. I need aspirin for my headache. Stupid hangover. Stupid bitch.
The bus door opens with a bang. I groan.
"Stop with the noise." I mutter as I down the pain relievers.
"Hello?" I hear I soft sweet voice say. I look up to see a beautiful girl in a very revealing outfit. Ashley must have brought a prostitute home for my pleasure. Excellent.
"How much?" I ask in a clipped tone.
"Ashley's got you covered, babe." She says and comes closer running her small hands over my shoulders. Oddly, I relax under her touch.
"Just relax, I'll give you something to remember." She purrs and I notice her eyes. In this moment I notice her eyes of all things. They are a light blue almost gray. Time seems to blur. In no time I was naked and she was going down on me. Finally, I find my voice.
"Stop," I say firmly. She looks up in shock and bites her lip. I pull back on my briefs and gesture her to come to me.
"Yes? Did I do something wrong?" She seems shocked. Apparently, no body's turned her down.
"If I asked you to just sleep with me what would you say?" I ask looking into her beautiful eyes.
"Ashley's got the night paid. If you're going on the road tonight, I'll get off at the next stop." She says in that quiet voice again. I hand her a t-shirt and briefs of mine. She changes infront of me. I notice the scars on her wrists. Some newer than others. I lay down and she curls in beside me. I take her arm and begin kissing her scars.
"You're beautiful, so don't cut anymore." I whisper tiredly. I feel her shoulders shake with silent tears as sleep claims me.
