In the darkness there is light

I lead Kelli down to the changing room hearing her complain about her makeup.
"Chris replaced all of your makeup with waterproof. Calm down." I sigh.
"Sorry for being annoying. I just an really nervous." She apologizes. I kiss her head as we arrive. I go to the men's changing room and pull my batman swimming trunks on. I then go and wait on Kelli to finish. When she comes out I put our streetclothes into my duffle bag.
"Climb on," I crouch slightly and let her jump up onto my back. The moment Kelli is secure I run full speed toward the water and drop the duffle bag on the sand.
"Andy!! Don't you dare!" Kelli screams as my feet hit the water. I keep running until the waves knock me down. I open my eyes underwater and grab Kelli.
"Andrew Dennis Biersack I told you not to do that!" Kelli glares.
I pout.
"Please forgive me babe. I love you." I kiss her cheek then I realize what I had said. I had told her I loved her and I meant it.
