The cushions were everywhere. People were scattered, from hiding and recording (and sleeping in Jake’s case). It’s hard to believe he went through this to find the cans he did (Jinxx kept the ones Ashley didn’t hide). He found the ones in mine and Ashley’s bunk all right, but then he tore up the place trying to find the other one. When he figured out Jake had it, he groaned. He had already drank one.
“WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GUYS HIDE IT!? ARGH!” We were mixed, from Jinxx, Ashley, and me laughing, to Andy and Laura hiding.
“We are not a part of this, CC.”
“I KNOW! IT’S THE ONES WHO ARE LAUGHING WHO ARE RESPOSIBLE FOR IT!” He got a glint in his eyes. “HOW ABOUT A HUG?!”
“SHIT! RUN!” Ashley looked scared. He ran to the front of the bus, and Jinxx followed. I stood there, knowing what to do. CC, when he was like this, was a blind bull. He charged. I waited until the last second, the moved slightly to the right. His arms got empty air. He finally gave up after a couple of minutes, and then he found the one with Jake. Ashley was once again in the doorway, recording again. CC got an idea.
“Jake,” he said, mocking Ella’s voice (very badly I might add), “why don’t you come say goodbye?” Jake woke up, and, forgetting he was on a top bunk, tried to run to the door. He fell flat on his face. We laughed, but CC lunged for his beloved Monster.
“Fuck you CC!”
“WHAT TIME?”
“Arrgh! I’m going back to bed!” He shoved CC out of his bunk, which earned him the finger.
“GUYS!” CC was acting more like a little kid now, jumping around the room. “WHAT ARE WE GUNNA DO TODAY?!”
“There is one god thing about him getting hyped like this.”
“What?”
“He crashes hard after an hour.”
Truth was, it lasted three hours, one for each Monster he drank. Needless to say, we al crashed at the same time, and Jake found us, how e slept through it, I have no idea.
