I woke up to Ashley looking at me, propped up on his elbow.
"How are you feeling?"
"Hmm? Sorry. I'm still asleep. Let me think why you are asking." I thought back to last night, and it came piece by piece. When I got to the part he was asking about, I kissed him. "I feel pretty great actually." I ran my finger over his famous 'OUTLAW' tattoo and he shivered.
"I'm glad you're OK. Did it...did it feel OK?"
"Better than I expected." It did hurt at first, but I wan't going to tell him that. He was already worried.
"What do you say then we get dressed and meet the others? They have been up for a little while now." I nodded. We got dressed and walked hand-in-hand out to meet the others.
"Look! The lovebirds are back!" I blushed. Laura grabbed me and pulled me aside.
"I know that look anywhere," she whispered. "YOU had sex with Ashley, didn't you?" When I blushed deeper and didn't answer, she gasped. "NO WAY!"
"SHUSH! Keep your voice down."
"How do you feel?" I giggled. "Whats funny?"
"Ashley asked the same thing this morning." I giggled some more.
"Great Now I sound like a guy. Anyway, I'm going to take it as a yes, you are OK, since you seem high." I nodded.
"I feel on top of Cloud Nine."
"Who came up with that anyway?"
"Hmm? Came up with what?"
"Feeling like you are on Cloud Nine. Wonder how it started."
"I don't know, but I do know I'm ON Cloud Nine."
"Yeah. It's the same with me and Andy." She got a faraway look and her eyes, and I giggled again. God what was with me? I never giggled, let alone three times in a row.
"Earth to Laura. Earth to Laura. Don't go daydreaming on me now."
"Your right. Anyway, Andy has big news. Come on."
She dragged me out to where everyone was sitting and say next to Andy. I went over to Ashley, and when he put his arm around me, i snuggled a little closer.
"OK. Now that everyone is here, I can tell all of you the great news. The Houston show is all set up for you guys to open for us!" Andy and Laura smiled, and everyone else smiled with them. I smiled too, but on the inside, I was feeling sick. The show was in a couple of days. How was I going to be ready?
