Confusion

Charlotte clenches her teeth slightly as the needle begins to land on her sensitive skin. Andy chuckles at her pain-filled reaction but he never saw how her fist tattoo went. All in all, the one on her thigh took eight hours because she was crying so hard.
“I can’t believe I chose to get this big of a sleeve worked on today!” She exclaims, glancing down at the work the burly tattoo artist was doing on her arm. Andy chuckles and pulls a chair over, pressing his lips to her temple as he whispers, “Anything for you on your birthday.”

“So you adopted Charlotte and now you two are dating…” The tattoo artist asks, who’s name Charlotte has yet to learn. “how did that happen?”
“Well, I really adopted Charlotte because I felt as though I needed to do something good for someone because with all the success we have been having I felt a bit guilty. Charlotte and I talked for a while at the orphanage she lived at and we became friends quickly, which was the intention. I don’t know Shaun… I mean later that night we found out that we had more than a spark for just friends.”

Charlotte winces a bit as Shaun begins to move the outline down towards her elbow. This had been quicker than she thought it would be and looking down at the black outline of a bow near her shoulder, Charlotte knew that this tattoo would turn out amazing. It was the day before tour began, as well as her birthday, and Andy had surprised her by taking Charlotte to get the sleeve she had been talking about started. Andy had also gotten a quick tattoo of Ohio with a Satan star in the middle while she was prepping herself for the process.

“so, do you want to begin some of the color today once I am done with the outline?” Shaun asks while they take a break. Andy had lit a cigarette inside which the artist seemed to be fine with. Charlotte places her lips on Andy’s for a moment while contemplating. It was still morning so they have some time to get at least the bow and ribbon that will be wrapping around her arms filled in. the scenes in between each crossover would have to wait since she can only endure so much pain from the tattooing. She takes Andy’s hand in hers as Charlotte responds to Shaun Karma. “Yeah, better get it over with now than wait.”

He nods, placing the needle back on her skin to finish up the outline of the ribbon that curls around her arm, towards her wrists. The two ribbons will end right around her vein, making the tattoo seem to be a real ribbon. Andy secretly takes a picture and quickly tweets it:

The three move on to a conversation about Black Veil Bride’s tour that begins in the next few days and what they are excited to see in Europe.

“Well, I’ve never been out of the state, so going out of the country will be a huge jump for me.” Charlotte mumbles, slightly embarrassed.
“Have you been out of this area?” Shaun asks, not glancing up from his work. Charlotte nods. “When I was in foster care I was taken care of a family in northern California. Then they decided since I wasn’t any good at farm work that I was of no use so at thirteen I was sent to that orphanage.”

As Andy listens to her say this, realization crosses his mind. They don’t know very much about each other’s past. He decides then and there that later tonight they will share the stories of their life.

“so, the light blue is all done. I think you should come back in for another session later because I think that was enough tattooing for one day.” Shaun chuckles, putting the needles down, then proceeds to take off his gloves. Charlotte stands and stretches before checking out the new tattoo she has on her left arm. While Andy pays, Charlotte finds a mirror and takes a picture to post on twitter.

Andy secretly retweets what she posted and pays for the tattoo, making sure to thank Shaun three times before getting Charlotte and taking her to his car. She climbs in the drivers seat with a smirk and pulls out of the lot, just noticing it is already dark outside.

So I've been trying really hard to write and I know this is not my best writing but its an update. Also, this tattoo sleeve thing is what I want to get done once I'm old enough and I trust you all are creative enough to come up with your own ideas but just incase: Don't copy! ;P
Also, side note: I fell asleep while walking to class this morning. How? I don't know.
