A Melodic Sound

"Mel? Hey Mel wake up." Someone said shaking my shoulder gently. "Mmm." I groaned and rolled over. "Mel you gotta get up." Someone whispered into my ear. "What do you want!?" I screamed punching whoever's face was next to mine. "Ouch! What the hell Melody?!" Ashley screamed. "Why the heck did you wake me up?!" I screamed standing up. "W-we.." Ashley stuttered. "After I stayed up all night cleaning up from this party. I cleaned up puke, drinks, trash, and everything else that wasn't even mine! So why did you wake me up?!" I yelled stepping closer to him. "Because we are going to breakfast and I was trying to get you up so you'd have time to get ready." Ashley yelled back.

I looked down at my stomach and tears instantly came to my eyes. "Well maybe I don't want to go eat breakfast because maybe I'm fat enough!" I screamed running up the stairs to mine and Andy's room. I jumped into the bed and pulled the covers up to my face. I laid there and just balled my eyes out. I couldn't even remember why I was crying I honestly just wanted to be alone. Any and every emotion there was came over me the second Ashley woke me up.

I was laying there in my own pool of tears when someone knocked on the door. "Mel? Are you okay?" Jake asked through the cracked door. "Go away!" I screamed throwing a pillow him. As soon as the door was closed again I rolled back over and began to cry again. I eventually cried so much I was half asleep. I was awake but I didn't have the energy to open my eyes. That's when I heard the door open. "Mel?" I heard Andy say softly. I wanted to reply but I was to tired and weak. "Sweetie are you okay?" He asked laying down next to me. I was to weak to even pull my body to his.

"Okay guys she is asleep. You can come in." Andy said back to the door. I heard footsteps as the guys all came in and sat on the floor around the bed. "Is she okay?" Jake asked. "She looks exhausted." CC said worried. "I don't know what's wrong with her. She is worrying me though." Andy said stroking my hair.

"She's being very emotional. She punched me in the face just for waking her up so we could take her to breakfast." Ashley said with a giggle. "She got you good too. You're turning purple." CC said laughing at Ashley's cheek.

Listening to the guys I began to stir a little. Andy started singing "The Mortician's Daughter." To me.

"I will await dear,
A patient of eternity, my crush.
A universal still, No rust.
No dust will ever grow on this frame,
One million years I will say your name.
I love you more than I can ever scream."

That's when it hit me. I suddenly got the energy to lean over the bed and grab the trashcan that thank God was next to the bed and puke. It just kept coming and coming to the point where I was dry heaving. Andy rubbed my back while Ashley held my hair.

When I was finally finished I fell back onto the bed. I instantly closed my eyes and fell back into a half sleep. "Mel?" Andy asked rubbing my arm. "I just pushed my body closer into his and absorbed all his warmth. I breathed in smelling his cologne. He always wore the best.

"You feel any better?" Andy asked. "I'm just a little sick. Don't worry about me." I said yawning. "Okay. Just get some rest angel. I'm right here." He said kissing my head.
