A Melodic Sound

I woke with a jolt. I looked over and noticed I was in the bed alone. "I wonder where Andy went." I said, to myself. I laid there for a moment, just relaxing when it hit me. Did all that really happen last night? I looked down and noticed the ring on my finger. I felt my heart swell with love and pride. "It did happen." I said, out loud. I stood up, and made my way to the bathroom. I got changed into a pair of black high-waisted shorts, and a white crop top with a black cross on the front. I put on my black converse, and grabbed some sunglasses. I didn't bother with makeup really, just some eyeliner. I put my black hair in a messy bun, and alkyd out the bathroom. I heard voices coming from the front, so I followed them. When I got to the front of the bus, all the guys were sitting around talking.

"Morning everyone." I said, in a happy tone. All the guys turned, and their jaws dropped open. "Morning beautiful." Andy said, holding out his arms. I went and sat on his lap. "What are you'll staring at?" I asked everyone, confused. "How come you've never worn shorts or crop tops before?" Jake asked, innocently. "Cause, I'm very self conscious of my body. And I know what people will say about it." I said, leaning into Andy more. "Well what's different about today?" CC asked. "I don't know. I just…feel good. Like nothing can stop me today. I'm getting married to the best man in the world, I'm touring the country with my favorite band, and I have an amazing family. I think that's enough to make anybody forget about the bad things in their life for a while." I said, smiling. "I am so proud of you." Andy whispered in my ear. That made me smile even bigger.

"Well I'm starving. Are we gonna eat anything?" I said, feeling my stomach growl. "Uh yeah. Where do you want to go?" Jinxx asked, standing up from the couch. "I don't care where we go. I just want some food." I said, getting hungrier by the minute. "How about that Chinese place down the road?" CC asked, enthusiastically. "I'm for it." Ashley said, standing up as well. "Alright let's go then." Andy said, standing up. We hopped out of the bus and into the bright sun. "By the way. Where are we?" I asked, putting on my sun glasses. "Arizona." Andy said. "Oohh good a beach. We need to go." I said, hopping on Andy's back. He carried me all the way to the restaurant.

When we got there, we all talked about going to the beach. The only problem is, I don't have a swim suit." I said, worried I had just messed everything up. "That's ok we'll go buy you one." Andy said. Our food arrived and we ate up. When we left, we walked back to the bus. "What time is the show tonight?" I asked. "Seven. But we have a sound check at six." Jake said. "Ok well it's like two now.. so let's watch a movie." I said. All the guys agreed. Soon we were sitting down, watching some scary movie. "This isn't scaring you too bad is it?" Andy whispered. I shook my head no. When the movie ended it was about four thirty. "We should start getting ready." Jinxx said.

All the guys went to get ready. Apparently this show was supposed to be big. It was a big venue, but it had sold out. I could tell the guys were excited, and so was I. I'm excited to see this show tonight. I was ready to stand on the side of the stage and watch my fiancee, sing his heart out. It's what he loves to do, and I love to watch him do it.
