A Melodic Sound

When we had all gotten back to the bus, I immediately went to my bags. "Andy?" I called. He came running to the back. "Yeah babe?" He asked, smiling. "Are we going anywhere fancy tonight?" I asked, concerned. "Don't worry about anything. Just go grab a shower." Andy said. "Bu-." I tried to say, blocked by Andy's finger. "Just go get in the shower." He said, leaning in and kissing my lips softly. "Ok. Fine." I grumbled, stomping off to the bathroom.

I walked into the bathroom and turned on the water. I put it on really hot. After that incident at the pizza place, I needed to calm down. I finished my shower quickly, and hopped out. When I got out, I saw something hanging on the door. "Mpmh." I said, shrugging my shoulders. Then I realized, that I had nothing to wear. I walked to the door, and lost my breath. "Oh my goodness." I said, looking at the beautiful dress hanging on the door. It was a solid black dress, with little ruffles of purple coming out the bottom in spots. I turned it to look at the back, and fell in love even more. It had a purple corset. "This is beautiful." I said, putting on the dress. I put on the four inch heels sitting by the door, as well. They were solid black with purple studs on the back. I did my makeup to match it, with black eyeliner and purple eyeshadow. I put on some dark red lipstick, and was done with the makeup.

I heard a beep, and saw that my straightener was ready. I finished my hair. I looked in the mirror one last time to see I looked perfect. But no. There was only one flaw with this dress. It was skin tight, showing my pudge. "Too late now." I said, opening the door. I heard voices from the front of the bus. The guys were all sitting around, on the couches joking around, when I walked in. "Guys look." CC said, his mouth wide open. "Wow. You look great." Jake said, smiling at me. "You look amazing Mel." Jinxx said, smiling at me as well. "Yeah except for the pudge. But thanks." I said, looking down at my stomach, and trying to suck in even more. "Hey. You look gorgeous Mel. I don't see a flaw on you. So just go out and have some fun." Ashley said, standing up and hugging me. "Thanks Ashy." I said, feeling a little better. I was about to ask where Andy was, when I felt something go around my neck. I looked down to see a music note made of black and purple diamonds. I turned, to see Andy smiling, as he took me in. "It's gorgeous Andy!" I said, hugging him. "No. Your gorgeous." He said, grabbing my hand. "Let's go." He said, walking us to the door.

"The place we're going is only about five minutes away. Is it ok if we walk?" Andy asked, hopefully. "Yeah sure. Just hold on one sec." I said, bending down, and taking off my heels. "I can't walk that far in these." I said, giggling. "Your laugh is so cute." Andy said, smiling back at me. "Thanks." I said, happily.

When we arrived at our destination, I looked up and saw a sign that said something in another language. Italian I think. We walked in hand in hand, until we got to the seating person. "Hi. We have a 7:00 reservation." Andy said, to the guy, standing behind the podium thingy. "Follow me sir." The man said. We kept walking throughout the rester aunt until we reached a table with white cloth over it and a candle on the side. In the middle of the table was a vase with a single red rose, inside. "Oh this is beautiful Andy." I said, shocked. "Only the best for the best." Andy said, pulling out my chair for me.

We talked all throughout dinner. Laughing and telling jokes occasionally. The waiter brought us our check. "Andy laid out some money and a tip. "Thank you. And you two have a wonderful evening." The waiter said, walking away. Andy stood, and grabbed my hand. "Ready to go?" Andy asked. "Yes. This night has been amazing." I said, kissing his cheek.

We began our journey back to the bus. We were almost there when Andy said, "Melody. I just want you to know, that I love you with all my heart. I have never felt about anyone, as I feel about you. I have loved you from the moment I first saw you." I looked at Andy, and saw in his eyes all the love and compassion he had for me. "I know you do Andy. I feel exactly the same. I don't know what or where I'd be without you right now. I said, smiling up at him. "We're here." Andy said, pointing to the bus. I looked up and saw something I was not prepared for.
