A Melodic Sound

I woke up to Andy pulling me into him. I felt so groggy and really sick. I looked down and noticed how skinny and pale I was. "Wow." I thought to myself. I saw a glass of water on the bedside table. I took a small sip, I hated throwing up and really couldn't handle doing it again. I set the water back on the table. "Hey your awake." Andy said looking down at me. I tried to lean up and kiss him but my whole body was so sore.
He giggled and bent down to kiss my lips. "Got it." He said smiling into our kiss. "W-what happened?" I asked nervous that I didn't wanna know. "What, y-you don't remember it?" Andy asked looking slightly confused. "No. I mean, I remember what happened. But shouldn't I be dead? Why didn't I die?" I asked lost in all of this mess.
"Well the needle you stabbed into your chest didn't pierce your heart for one. And two, it wasn't anything but morphine. But since you got it into your blood flow, it knocked you out for a couple hours." Andy said. I began coughing hard. "Ow." I said with watery eyes. "It also made you really sick." Andy said rubbing my back.
Just as I finished another coughing fit, the guys all walked in. "Hey look who's up and beautiful again." Jake said giving me a hug. "Hey Jakey." I said pulling him in tight for the hug. "There's my little sister!" CC said laughing and squeezing me a little to hard. "Mmphh." I said into his shoulder, letting him know he was hurting me. "Oh sorry." He said backing up. "There she is." Jinxx said hugging me as well. "Hey sweetheart. How are you doing?" Ashley asked hugging me. "Ok I guess. I really missed you while I was..you know..gone." I said feeling tears pricking my eyes. "Oh baby doll I missed you to. I love you so much. You know that?" He said kissing my cheek. "Yeah I do. I love you too Ashy." I said smiling up at him.
The nurse then walked into the door. "Hello Mrs. Biersack. How are you doing today?" I looked up at Andy. Mrs. Biersack? He just smiled and winked at me. "Better." I said looking up at her, hoping she wouldn't give me anything that will make me tired. I was already "asleep" I guess you could say, for too long. "Well I have some medicine for you that will help you get better. But I won't give you the one that makes you tired until tonight." She said smiling at me. She gave me a pill and then walked back out of the room.
"They aren't gonna put me in a mental hospital?" I asked the guys. "No the other nurse was turned around when it happened. So she thinks that you just jumped out of the bed to run away or to one of us, but you hit the tray and landed on the needle." Jake said. "Does sound like you though, tripping and falling." CC said smiling at me. I was just happy that I didn't have to go to a crazy hospital. Sure I'm crazy . But I'm still sane. I'm crazy in a different way than sanity. I'm crazy in love. Crazy in love with Andy.
"You do need to eat though kiddo." Jinxx said looking at my stomach. "Oh…yeah." I said feeling self conscious all of a sudden. As if on cue the nurse walked in with a tray of food. "Here you go sweetie." She said setting it on the bedside table. Andy reached over and grabbed an applesauce and a spoon. He dipped it in and began to spoon feed me. By the second bite I was feeling sick, but I wanted Andy to stop worrying so I kept eating. I had one spoonful left but couldn't do it. I felt the color leave my cheeks. Ashley saw and brought over the trashcan just in time. I threw up so much, I could taste my stomach acid at the end. "Ok. Here just rest." Andy said helping me lay back down.
The rest of the day me, Andy, and the guys all just talked and joked around. The nurse had come in already and gave me my medicine. I could feel it kicking in. "Someone looks like they're getting sleepy." Andy said leaning down and kissing the top of my head. "No…no I'm fine." I said leaning into Andy. We talked for a little more, when Ashley asked me "So Mel. Who did you worry the most about while you were…out." "A…" I couldn't finish. I was so tired and exhausted. My head fell onto Andy's chest. I heard all the guys giggling. "That's so cute." Jake said. "She is precious." Andy said leaning down and kissing my lips. I tried to kiss back but could't do it. I fell into a deep sleep.
