This Is The Story Of The Wild One.

Rebellion.

(2:00 AM,
July 26th, 2011.)

A loud annoying alarm sound pierced straight through my dreamless sleep, knowing what it meant I quickly shut off the alarm I set earlier today. It was time for me to get ready to paint the city. The second I turned off my alarm I laid back down in my bed and tried to keep as still as possible. I did this because I knew someone would have heard my alarm and might have gotten up to see what or who it was.
Just as I expected my bedroom door opened and revealed Andy, standing in the doorway. I squinted my eyes tight so it appeared I was sleeping. He did a quick scan of my room, shrugged his shoulders as he shut my door again and went back to wherever he was before. I laid there for another moment just in case anyone else was outside my room or in the hallway. When I was sure no one was there I slipped quietly out of my bed and tip-toed over to my closet. There were 2 dim lights on the doors of my closet so I could see very faintly what was in there. After 10 minutes of holding different tank tops and shorts against the small lights I finally managed to pick out some clothes. I also grabbed a pair of sneakers that were easy to run in. [Max's outfit: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=119319430]

I quickly changed into the clothes, put on the shoes and went over to my vanity desk. Sadly it was impossible for me to do my make up and hair in the dark so I had to turn on my desk lamp. I ran a brush through my wavy hair quickly and tied it into a simple high ponytail, leaving my bangs drooping across my face. After that I did my normal make up that I've been doing since I was 13, a fairly heavy cat eye and red lipstick. This only took me about 5 minutes to do since I've been doing the same make up for a long ass time. I didn't have to worry about my contacts because I was already wearing my lime green ones that are safe to leave in while I sleep. Once I had my make up done I turned off my desk lamp since there was no point in me having it on longer then I needed to. I was only risking getting caught by having it on. I slipped off all my rings aside from one and put a simple bracelet on. Next I grabbed an old drawstring bag and stuffed a bunch of different spray paints in it. I also shoved in my wallet which I put $10 in, my phone and threw it on my shoulder. I was ready to go.

I silently walked over to the huge window by my bed and opened it slowly, trying to make as little sound as possible. Once I opened the frame enough to climb out of I hopped out and closed the frame back most of the way, leaving enough for me to be able to open it again when I want to get back inside my room. I jumped off the little roof I was standing on which was located right under my window and landed on the small path leading up to the stairs which were connected to the deck. I opened up my draw string bag and got out my neon green can ready, got on my skateboard and started making my way down the street. I had no clue where I was going.
But I had decided that the only thing I was going to do tonight is tag a many walls as I could, nothing special. No murals. Not tonight anyway.

An hour of tagging many, many walls later I skated down this tight alleyway. It turned out to be a dead end but instead of turning around and going back I kept skating until I hit the end. I figured since it was a such a small alleyway there would be less of a chance of anyone seeing me.

Boy was I wrong.

I took this opportunity to take longer and do a small mural. I got out my black spray can and painted out the shadow of a little girl holding out a gun to her head. Then I got out my red can and drew butterflies coming out of the opposite side of her head that the gun was held. The butterflies were supposed to represent the blood. Next with the same paint I scribbled 'Suicide is illegal. It's a crime to destroy the government's property.' I put my red can away and went for my grey can when suddenly there was a bright flash of blue and red and before I knew it a police officer was running in my direction. Shit.

Since it was a dead end and the officer was already too close for me to be able to run out of the alleyway I was going to have to climb the huge ass rocky wall behind me if I wanted a chance of not getting arrested. But after getting not even a quarter of the way up the police officer pulled me off the wall by my belt loop and forcefully pressed me against the wall I was trying to climb, still grabbing onto my belt loop and since the wall was rocky it hurt like hell.
"Get the fuck off me." I growled as I tried to squirm free. When I did so he grabbed my shirt and applied more force which only made me angry.
"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. Vandalizing on the side of a church are we?"
"What?!" I froze for a moment, wide eyed. Was I painting on the side of a church? If I was I would be in even more trouble then I already was.
"Don't play dumb with me kid!" He spat as he applied even more force. If this wasn't considered as excessive force I don't even know what the fuck is.
My squirming turned to kicking and my kicking turned to hitting and my hitting turned to punching. I just wanted him off of me.
"GET OFF ME!" I screamed.
He finally let go off my shirt but not my belt loop before he yanked both my arms together harshly and cuffed them. When I bent down to retrieve my bag and skateboard he pulled me by the arm.
"What do you think you're doing?!" He barked.
"Getting my bag and skateboard." I hissed.
"I'll be taking those! I bet you've got stacks of drugs in there or something!"
"Fuck you." I grumbled as he picked them both up.
The officer grabbed onto my belt loop once again and practically dragged me over to the police car.
When we got up to the police car he opened the back car door, then he literally shoved me into the back seat before slamming the car door shut and locking it. Why he's treating me like this, I don't know.
I would speak up but it only makes matters like this worse.
He got into the driver's seat and chucked my skateboard and bag onto the passenger seat. Then the officer turned on the car and we were heading to the local police station.

After a 10 minute ride that consisted of my biting down on my tongue so that I wouldn't say anything that would make the situation worse we finally stopped outside the police station. The officer turned off the engine, got my skateboard and bag, got out of the car, unlocked my door and opened it. I stepped out of the car and he shut the door behind me. He grabbed my arm and we started walking up to the entrance. There was a keypad on the door so when we got up to the door he let go of my arm completely and started typing in the number. This gave me the opportunity to knock the cigarette box and lighter in my back right pocket to the floor and kick them away into a nearby bush. The officer, thankfully, didn't notice me. When he got the door open he once again grabbed my arm and we walked into the building. He took me into a small box-like room that had a large table in the middle with 2 plastic chairs either end. There was also a huge mirror on the wall opposite to the door. A female officer walked into the room and the one who brought me here left with all my stuff.
"Alright, full name?" The officer who just walked into the room asked as she un-cuffed me.
"Maxine Destiny." There's no point in lying about your name. They'll find out you are lying one way or another and you will be in even more shit then you're already in.
"Just Maxine Destiny? No middle name?" She raised an eyebrow.
"No I have no middle name."
"Okay. So Maxine we're going to question you straight away and not place you in a custody cell for the night. How old are you?"
"I am 15."
"So that means we need you to call one of your parents or guardian."
"I don't know my guardian's number. I have my cell with me but it was in my bag that the other officer took."
"That's been taken for searching and I'll give it to you once we're assured you aren't carrying any illegal substances on you."
Thank god I didn't bring anything with me aside from paints.
"I'll be back in a moment, please take a seat on one of the chairs. Remember there are security cameras on each corner of this room." She said before leaving the room and closing the door behind here. I sat down on one of the chairs and set my feet on the table in front of me. Well there's one broken promise that I made to my dad and it's only day 3.
"I wonder what Ashley is going to say?" I asked myself aloud.

A boring 15 minutes later the lady returned with my skateboard and bag.
"We found nothing in your bag or hidden in your skateboard but I do need to search you." She set my bag and skateboard by the door as I stood up and put both my hands on top of my head. I've been searched a ridiculous amount of times.
She walked over to me and gave me a warm smile, "I'm sorry if this makes you uncomfortable it's just I have to do this by law."
"It's fine, go ahead."
She felt around my whole chest area (not in a sexual way) since most females hid stuff in their bras then she moved down to my bottom half. When she found nothing there she asked me to take off my shoes so that she could check there was nothing in them. I did as she asked. She took out the sole of both the shoes and searched through it. Once again she found nothing and put the soles back inside my shoes and gave them back to me. I slipped them back on my feet.
"You're all good, you can call your guardian now and then we can get to questioning."
"Great." I said with a sarcastic tone.
I went over to my bag and got my phone out. I sat back down on the plastic chair as I unlocked my phone and called Ashley's number. When I got the phone he put all 5 of the guys' numbers in there.
I held it to my ear as it started ringing. On the 5th ring he answered.
"Hello?" Ashley answered, clearly confused as to why someone is calling him at 4 in the morning.
"Hey it's Max."
"Max? Why are you calling me at this time in the morning?" I heard him yawn.
"To put it straight, I'm at the police station and you need to come down here since you're my 'guardian' now." I rolled my eyes at the word guardian.
"Why?" He stated in a more of an angry tone then anything.
"Got caught for street art."
"What." He snapped.
"Oh would you just come down here." I groaned.
"Fine." He grumbled before hanging up the phone.
I set my phone down on the table and sighed quietly to myself. To my surprise the officer started conversation with me.
"So how come I've never seen you around here before?" She asked.
"I just moved here." I muttered.
"How come?" The officer inquired.
I looked down at the ground, "I'd rather not." Just thinking about why I'm here makes me want to put my fist through a wall.
"That's fine, I understand." She smiled warmly at me. "Excuse me a moment while I go find all the papers I need." She left the room.
That was weird. Never, ever, ever have I had a police officer who was that kind to me before. Then again I've never had a female officer before.

Another boring ass 15 minutes later a different police officer arrived at the door with a fuming Ashley behind him. I guess the officer was just showing Ashley where I was because he left straight away. Ashley walked over to me and stood right in front of me.
"Care to fucking explain?" He demanded.
"Explain what? That a little rebellion is always a good thing." I smirked.
As soon as I said that his cheeks went a rosy red as he clenched his jaw.
"Why are you freaking out so much anyway?" I asked.
"I bet you can take a good fucking guess Max."
"Ashley, it's not like I murdered someone. Calm down for fucks sakes." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
"Calm down. Oh sure, I'll fucking calm down. It's not like I'm having to fucking drive up to the police station at 4 in the fucking morning because you got caught for vandalism is it?!" He yelled.
"Street art actually." I corrected as the officer walked back into the room.
She sat down on the chair opposite to me and Ashley.
"You do not have to say anything. However, it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something..."
