In The End

Kisses littered my face, causing me to stir from my sleep. I smiled softly turning into my soft pillows chest and murmuring softly incoherent things.
"Abby, wakey-wakey love. You've been asleep for three hours." I heard my Jacob's voice call to me so I rolled over and looked at him through tired sleepy eyes.
"Wha? I just was watering the plants. Leave me alone." I mumbled rubbing my face on his black tee-shirt.
"Come on sleepy-head." He said again lifting me up and sitting me on his lap. "I won't kiss you until you're awake." I pouted hearing those words but I cracked my eyes open again, to see his face.
"Kisses...now..." I demanded softly grinning softly as he leaned down and kissed my lips softly. His kisses were like butterflies wings brushing against your skin. I was addicted to him.
"I love you but we need your help with a few songs." Jake said and I nodded wiping at my eyes.
“Okay,” I yawned out and stood up. “Where’s Andy?” I asked them (CC, Ash and Jake) softly and CC pointed to the door to the right of me.
“Thanks,” I yawned and walked out through the door seeing Andy and a blonde, orange chick sucking face. I stood still until I couldn’t take it anymore so I cleared my throat loudly.
“Hey Andy. Jake just woke me up and told me you needed help with a few songs? Oh sorry, I didn’t know you had company. I’m Abby, Jinxx’s little sister…Nice to meet you.” I said from my corner of the room, I watched Andy run his fingers through his hair as the other arm snaked around the blonde who frowned looking at me.
“Abby this is my girlfriend, Kaylee. Kaylee, baby, this is Abby.” I could tell he was feeling awkward about me walking in on him snogging the chick but she seemed hostile to me.
“Hi,” She replied in her fake high voice, which made me flinch. I watched her eyes travel up and down my disheveled appearance and grin. I gave her a ‘what the fuck’ look and she scoffed at me. I watched the way she clung to Andy. My Andy…Wait what?!
“How do you do?” I asked softly, not wanting to look at them. I had Jake. Jake was my boyfriend and I loved him a lot. So why did I say Andy was ‘mine’?
“I’m great so Andy baby? Should I go back to our place so when you’re done, you can stop by?” Her high voice and giggle made me wince. But the way she hung on top of him made me want to barf.
“Yeah, I’ll see you soon I promise babe.” He answered and I almost gagged. I stood still and they acted as if I wasn’t even there, well nice to know I’m noticed.
“Okay babe. See you then.” She shot me a glare as she pushed past roughly. I faltered a bit as she pushed but I stood back up straight quickly, not wanting to have any trouble. Andy just looked dazed at the door which she exited.
“Umm Andy? Shall we get started?” I asked softly sapping him out of his daze.
“Oh umm yeah. Let’s get started!” He seemed excited but still distracted because of Kaylee.
I walked forward to the couch and sat down picking up the notebook that he was writing in the last time I saw him.
“Do you want to work on ‘Lost it All’? I asked looking down at the paper, feeling his weight dip the sofa’s cushion. My chest began to hurt, well ache. I tried doing stupid things before and now I’m dealing with the consequences of my actions.
“Okay then maybe another too.” He said and I nodded, looking over the lyrics.
“Is this the one Jinxx sang to me when my mum and dad died?” I asked softly, feeling a lump in my throat.
“Sadly yes. I’m sorry about them Abby. But they’re so proud of you…I know it.” I felt Andy’s skinny arms snake around me and I pulled in accepting his hug. I nodded wiping my eyes on his jean vest.
“Thank you Andy. Thank you so much.” I said and he kissed my head.
“Shall we get to work?” I asked and he nodded once again. Then I read over what Andy had written down.
“Well, I guess we should start the second verse. Seeing the first as it tells a story and consumes the listener with its sad yet entrancing words. May I write down some ideas for this?” I asked softly picking up the pencil.
“Sure, I’m stuck so anything will help out.”
“Of course.”
I picked up the pencil and just began to write down what popped into my head. ‘I stood above, another war, another jewel upon the crown. I was the fear of man. But I was blind. I couldn't see the world there right in front of me. But now...I can... (Yeah)’
“Hmm…” I bit the end of the eraser and nibbled on it, giving myself time to think. I pushed the sleeves of my hoodie up a bit, feeling the sweat trickle down my back. But Andy saw what I was trying to hide.
“What’s this?” He asked, not looking at my face as he pulled my sleeve further up…Showing a battle field of my mind verses my body. Angry red lines littered my pale skin. They were fresh. I felt like I needed to feel the pain in my body.
“Oh Abby, Its okay,” I sniffled as He hugged me tightly again and rocked e back and forth in his lap. A gesture that would seem strange but Andy kept my secrets. He told me some of his and it brought us closer for that.
“I believe that we all fall down sometimes, Can’t you see that we all fall down?” He asked me and I nodded burring my face into the crook of his neck.
“You should use that,” I muttered softly turning my head to his ear. “It’s perfect for the song.” He chuckled softly.
“You sure are weird Abby.”
“Nu huh! You are!’ I stuck my tongue out at him as he wrote down what he said to me.
“This is really good. Wow time flies, It’s five already. Damn.” I nodded looking up and seeing the clock on the wall.
“Come on weirdo.” He said walking out of the door to the others who were talking about going out for dinner.
I sat down next to Jake and Kissed his cheek softly.
“Hey babe, have fun with Andy?” He asked and I nodded smiling.
“We worked on ‘Lost it All” I think it rocks. More of a mellow song but still with an edge.” The guys nodded and I smiled looking at Andy.
“Let’s go okay?”
“Sure.”
We walked out of the place and to the cars. Time for some food.
