I Don't Belong
{Hi, I'm Joshlyn or Josh and let me tell you the story of what I would like to call hell. I live with my abusive "parents" and my older "brother." I don't feel like they are my family since they hate me. They call me names and beat me until I bleed. Ever since I was 13, I cut myself. I still do, but I have no more room on my arms so I do it on my legs. Today is my birthday and I bought myself a ticket for the best concert of my life. Honestly it's my first concert and it's for my favorite band ever, Black Veil Brides. I was the most depressed person, but things changed.}
I woke up from my black out. I hit my head on a sharp piece of wood while my dad was kicking me against the wall. My hair had dry blood stains and my face was all bruised. I sat up from my bed and rubbed my head. I checked my phone to see what time it was and it was 6:00 pm. I had an hour to get ready for my BVB concert. I quickly sat up and ran to the bathroom to get ready. I came out 45 minutes later changed and ready to go. "Here's the little slut now and look she put make up on to look a little prettier." My mom mocked at me. They all laughed. "Where the hell do you think your going?!'' My brother shouted. "A concert that I payed for myself since you won't." I replied. "Well don't even bother coming back after your little emo shitty music. I don't want to see you near this house again." My dad walked towards me. I took one step back and felt my legs tremble. His hand came close to me and I knew that he was going to hit me. He grabbed my hair, kicked me to the ground, and punched my face. "Now go you little emo whore." He mocked at me and I ran out of the house. Luckily I wasn't that far from the concert so I could walk. I was half way there when I remembered my blade was in my pocket. I took it out and held it to my skin. I slid it across watching the blood spill out as I walked to the concert. I rolled my sleeve back down and put the blade back. I made it to the line and was only the third person there. It was about 15 minutes later and I was aloud in. I got the closest place to the stage. I was so excited to be here, but had no idea where I could go after this. Soon the stage lights dimmed and the screams of "Black Veil Brides" became louder. I was finally somewhere I could be who I am. CC, Jake, Jinxx, Andy, and Ashley came running onto the stage. They all became to play their awesome songs. After a few minutes, people behind me were fighting and well being haters. They caught Andy's attention. I turned around to look at them, but let me say that was a bad idea. Once I looked at them, one of them punched me and I fell to the ground. Everything was blurry until everything blacked out.
