As they walked into the gas station they drew stares from the other people inside. Most were less than friendly, Jade ignored them all and grabbed the few items she had come in for, remembering to grab the driver a large coffee. As she was paying for her things she felt Ashley step up behind her and gently place a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, the guys are driving me nuts, mind if I join you for a little while?"

"Oh, um not at all," Jade replied as she gathered up her purchases and walked back to the bus.

"Man you walk slow," Ashley teased.

"Hey, give me a break, my legs are a lot shorter than yours," Jade sighed as she handed the driver his coffee before boarding the bus and making her way back to the lounge. "So what was you're plan for today?" he asked as he plopped down on the couch and stretched out his legs.

"Um, I was torn between a movie marathon or video games," Jade said as she sat on the other couch.

"What movies? And please don't say Batman."

"I was thinking Tim Burton actually, so that would only be one Batman movie," Jade said as she looked over to Ashley. "And what's wrong with Batman?"

"It's all Andy wants to watch."

"Ah, I see I see," Jade said as she pulled her box of movies and games close.

"What would you of played?"

"Um, probably one of the Legend of Zelda games, or drunk Mario Cart, or some other game."

"Drunk Mario Cart?"

"Yeah, you um, start each race with a beer, and you have to finish your beer before crossing the finish line, but to drink you have to pull over to the side of the road and come to a complete stop," Jade explained as she looked over to Ashley.

"Lets do that," he suggested.

~Several races later~
"Why are you so good at this," Jade whined as she came in dead last again.

"Because I can drink a lot more than you can before feeling the affects," Ashley said simply.

Jade stood and stumbled up to the bathroom, taking care of what she needed to before flushing the toilet and then kneeling in front of it to throw up. She had been dry heaving for several minutes when Ashley opened the door and kneeled next to her, rubbing her back as he helped her stand.

"You okay," he asked as she grabbed a propel from the fridge.

"I think so," she mumbled, stumbling back to the lounge with the intention of laying down for a while. However, as she went to return to her seat, she felt arms wrap around her waist and pull her up. Ashley held her as he sat, pulling her into his lap and holding her close. He put a random Netflix movie playing and gently stroked her hair, lulling her into a light sleep.
