You've read my book??? (On HIATUS)
Wait, what now?
Jade was sitting on the balcony of her home smoking, when she heard her cell begin to ring. Picking it up she saw it was from her agent, "Hello?" she answered, stubbing the cigarette out in the ashtray next to her.
"Miss Westtower, I have some great news. Because your book is selling so well, the agency wants to send you on a book tour," the woman on the other end said happily.
Jade stared at her phone in shock, "what do you mean my book is selling well?"
"Sweetheart, your book has made it onto the New York Times bestseller list," the woman said kindly. "And so, as stated in the contract you signed, we're sending you on a book tour."
"O-okay, um, send me the details and I-I'll get started on packing, bye," Jade said nervously before hanging up and staring in blankly at the floor. Slowly she started to giggle, before long the giggle had turned into a very nervous laugh. Jade couldn't believe it, her book was a best seller! She never expected to sell more than a few hundred copies.
Slowly she made her way back into her home and grabbed her large suitcases, slowly filling them with clothes and other such items. "This may be an interesting adventure," she said to herself as she checked her e-mail for the information her agent had just sent her.
