The girl across the hall

We didn't– right?

Arielle awakes in the morning, cuddling with someone- in only her bra and underwear. Her memory of the night before is fuzzy but she barely remembers throwing herself at Andy. Why the hell does she have to be such a light weight!

"Babe..." Andy groans, pulling Arielle into his chest even more. She gasps, they didn't- did they? No- she wouldn't be wearing clothes is they did...
She sighs, liking the feeling of being in his arms. Andy holds her tighter as she leans into his chest even more, neither of them wanting to move. Eventually, she falls back asleep, he follows after a few short moments of watching the beautiful girl in his arms sleep. Unfortunately, their slumber is rudely awakened by the sounding of young forever by the ready set blasting from Arielle's phone- Delaney's ring tone.
"I don't feel like getting that." She groans, turning in Andy's arms so that she is facing the singer's sleepy face. "She might be confused." He whispers, pushing a hair behind her ear. Arielle knows that her hangover is getting worse but she doesn't want to leave his arms.
"One question- why am I not wearing clothes... And in your bed?"
His chuckles shake his chest as he says, "you were drunk last night and wanted to have sex so the only way I could get you back was to agree we could have sex... Did you know that you litterally tackled me on the bed last night?"
"We didn't have sex though... Correct?" Worry fills her brain as she awaits his answer.
"No! I wouldn't take advantage of you while you're drunk. But you did strip yourself by the way, I had no control over that." He glances at her lips, remembering the heated make out that happened last night, her hot kisses over him that left hickeys across his neck and collar bone.

Arielle is taking in Andy's tattoos across his chest and arms, it somehow doesn't bother her anymore- more intrigues her than anything. She grazes her fingers over the tattoo that says blasphemy, curious as to why she would have such a word tattooed on his arm near a cross. He smiles, pulling her the slightest bit closer as she does, feeling her sigh contently at his touch.
"Why do you have so many tattoos?"
Andy places a kiss on her forehead, caressing her face with her thumb while whispering, "because each one tells a story, a memory... Except my tattoo of a koala with my old warpaint drinking whiskey- I don't remember that one."
She laughs, the body art intriguing her even more. For someone so tough looking, he sure is smart and sincere. "Anything interesting with your piercings?"
"nope, I just like them."
Arielle leaves a soft kiss on his lips, giggling. He runs his fingers down her back lightly, sending a shiver down Arielle's spine.
"thank you for not taking advantage of me Andy." She whispers, laying her head on his chest. Andy kisses the top of her head, loving every moment he gets to spend with Arielle in his arms- savoring it because they both know it won't happen again any time soon.

Later, an angry pounding on the door breaks the comfortable silence of the couple. They groan, slowly climbing out of bed and collecting their clothes as another knock hits the door. Andy throws on a pair of basketball shorts and makes his way to the door, grumbling about the interruption. On the other side of the door lies a conflicted Delaney who desperately needs her best friend's guidance.
"Where's Arielle." She demands. Andy blinks his eyes still trying to wake up. As he runs a hand through his shortened hair Arielle steps out of the room fully clothed again. Delaney sends a glare at Andy before noticing Arielle.
"What?" He asks, getting out a cigarette while Arielle comes by, looking up at him with confusion. "Hey D."
"You stayed the night here?"
She nods, "why?"
Delaney huffs, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the apartment. Andy chuckles, calling after her, "call me later babe!"
Arielle groans as Delaney drags her to the couch. "I made a huge mistake last night Arielle."
"What, sleeping with a guy with the word boner on his shirt?" She smirks, "we all have to move on some way."
She shakes her head, sighing. "No, not just that... He asked me to go on another date on Friday. I said yes."
"So? That's good for you girl!" Arielle squeals, "was he good?"
"Yes- but that's not the point. By a date he basically meant sex."
"Well is that what you want?" Arielle glances at her flustered friend, she's been through so much. Delaney sighs, puffing her cheeks out and pushing her hair back. "I mean... I guess I kind of do... No strings attached you know? No way I can get hurt again. I want a break from relationships but I don't want to be alone, you know?"
The writer nods, "I get it."
"but is it weird?" She looks to her friend, pacing harshly around the room. "I've never done anything like this before- you know me- innocent little me. I waited until I had been with Leo for a year before I slept with him during senior year. Maybe I should be a little ' wild for once, you know? Get it out before I settle down?"
Arielle shrugs, "I guess. Do whatever you feel is right." She giggles, "I'm doing a similar thing I guess. I'm going out with a guy who is in a rock band, I got drunk last night and smoked a cigarette. Hell I barely remember last night at all!"
Delaney laughs, "last night was pretty awesome."
"So how was he girl? You never told me."
A smile creeps across her face as she stops her pacing and bounces down next to Arielle. "He was amazing. Best sex of my life. He even made me breakfast this morning, and he was so adorable."
"His name?"
"His name is Jack, he's in the band called all time low." Delaney licks her lips as she thinks back to the night before, snapping back to reality as Arielle waves a hand in front of her face. "I think I should be asking you how Andy was last night."
"What- no! We didn't-"
"Save it Arielle," Delaney smirks, "you stayed over there last night. I highly doubt you just slept in the same bed without having a little action."
"No, Andy was a gentleman and basically made the drunken me stop trying to seduce him. You know me though, I'm a sexual drunk." Arielle giggles, looking at her lock screen Andy had jokingly set on their last date. He had taken a cute selfie of the two of them.
"you sure gave him a lot of hickeys considering you didn't have sex..." Delaney raises her eyebrows at her friend who had a reputation to be a bit more on the wild side- although her actions have calmed down recently, her college days sure were a blast. Maybe she needs that excitement again, she had that feeling last night for sure. It seems like Andy could be the gateway back to the fun she used to have.
