The girl across the hall

"Ari, here take this." Delaney says from beside her sick best friend. She hands the pill to Arielle who has been feeling more and more nauseous over the past week. She leans over the bed for the trash can again, gripping her stomach and groaning as beautiful vomit flows out of her mouth.
"Ari, do you think you could be-"
"N-n-no-" Arielle empties her stomach yet again. Delaney rolls her eyes at her friends refusal to even do a test. She steps out of the room and dials a number that will surely get Arielle to take the fucking test. There's no harm in it anyway.

"Hello?"
"Andy this is Delaney. Arielle's been throwing her guts up the past few days and has been to ignorant to call you."
"Oh- is she ok?" Andy asks, suddenly worried. He shuts the curtain to his bunk and pulls out his computer to research what could be wrong with Arielle.
"I personally have a feeling that it could be a pregnancy but she is also too stubborn to take the test."

Andy almost chokes on his water at this. Arielle pregnant with his kid? This is amazing and frightening at the same time.
"Have her take the test. I'll talk to her if she is seriously unwilling to." Andy says goodbye and sits back in his bunk- he might be a father!

"Delaney! I'm not pregnant!" Arielle whines from the bed. All she wants to do is sleep but her friend keeps bugging her about taking a pregnancy test. "I'll do it in the morning. I need to rest so I can go to work tomorrow."

With a final huff, Delaney walks out of the apartment, headed down to the drugstore to buy a few tests.

Arielle grabs the test Delaney is waving in front of her face and heads into the bathroom. They wait the fifteen minutes before Delaney looks at the test with a straight face. "Skype Andy so you see the result together."
She groans, opening her computer and skyping Andy who picks up almost immediately.
"So miss almost-barakat over here has been bothering me to take a pregnancy test." She huffs, holding up the pregnancy test with the result still covered by her thumb.
"I haven't looked yet. You tell me what it says."
As Arielle moves her finger Andy stares at the test with a confused expression. Delaney mouths in the background, 'she's pregnant'. A smirk comes over his feature as he announces, "we're having a baby babe!"
"Oh my god." Arielle whispers, a small smile gracing her lips as she imagines their baby. Their perfect little child that is currently growing inside her uterus.

"Did you just say you're having a baby!" Someone yells from another part of the bus. Andy shouts back, "Yep! Arielle's pregnant!"
"Duude! That's great!" Cc shouts opening the bunk curtains.
"Hey cc."
"hey Ari. So what are you going to name it?"
"We literally just found out two minutes ago and you expect us to have a name?" Arielle giggles, holding up the pregnancy test.
"Do you want to wait to tell your fans? Because I know I need to tell my office because of maternity leave as well as the fact that they will need a new editor for that time since the one who just had a baby quit."
"I think if you want to tell them now you can but we might as well wait until I get back in a few weeks so we can take a few pictures. Hopefully you have a bit of a bump then."
"Alright. Well I'm going to go to sleep so hopefully I can go to work tomorrow. I love you."
"I love you too. I'm going to call my mom now."

The call ends and Arielle sighs. How is she going to tell her parents she's pregnant?

I have a ton of adorable pregnancy outfits I want to put with the story so until I get over writers block updates will be going slowly because I don't want to catch up to what I have written...
(psst I felt like sharing that I had my first kiss last saturday and it was so weird!)
