Ash POV
Alex was quiet for a while after CC told her we were going to leave. Was she upset about that? I look at the clock hanging on the wall. It was 5:30 and already getting dark.
"I think I should get Nicole. We've been gone all day." Alex says.
"You're really gonna leave already?" CC asks her. "But you just got here! You two should stay all night with us and party!"
Alex laughs. "Sorry, CC. I just don't think we should-"
The curtain suddenly flies open, and two men step out. Jake and Jinxx.
"Andy and that girl are talking sooo loud in there..." Jake complains. "I couldn't get any sleep. Who's this?" He looks at me.
Alex sticks out her hand. "I'm Alex. I was at the concert last night."
Jake shakes her hand, then Jinxx. "I remember you." Jinxx speaks up. "You weren't fangirling like the others."
She nods. "Yeah." Then she starts pacing back and forth, impatient. "Nicole, let's go!"
"Alex, do you really have to go?" I ask. "You two could stay the night if you want."
"Sorry, Ash. I have work tomorrow." She says, an apologetic look on her face.
For some reason, I wanted her to stay. Just so I could be with her longer. She wasn't like the average girls I was used to. She was...different.
Nicole comes out. "But i don't wanna go, Alex."
"Then I'll just go." Alex offers. "You can stay here."
"No, I'm not staying if you're not."
"Well I have to wake up early. So i have to go." Alex explains.
"Alright." Nicole says. "We'll go." She turns to Andy to say her goodbyes. Nicole hugs all of us, and Alex does the same. When she goes to hug me, I decide to have some fun.
Alex POV
I wrap my arms around Ash's neck, the smell of his body spray whifting towards me. I try to let go, but Ash just tightens his grip around my waist. Okay then... He's actually being nice to me.
I suddenly feel his hand go somewhere it definitely shouldn't. and without thinking, I shriek and slap him across the face, leaving a read area on his cheek. Everyone's heads snap towards us, wondering what happened. Ashley looked surprised as well. When I noticed everyone looking in my direction, my cheeks redden. I ignore their stares, looking back up at Ash. "I've had it with you, Purdy. You can't just do whatever you want to me like I'm your property."
And with that, I stormed off the bus.
Andy POV
Nicole rushes after Alex and shuts the door. I glare at Ashley. "What did you do to her?"
He puts a hand over the red spot on his cheek. "I grabbed her ass." He says casually.
We all give him looks saying, 'really?' OF course Ash would do something like that. "Well I was going to see if they wanted to go on tour with us, but they'll probably say no now." I complain.
CC walks up to Ash. "Does this hurt?" He pokes the cheek.
"Yes, CC. Ow, CC, stop! You're only supposed to poke it once!"
CC stops. "Heh. Sorry."
Ash rolls his eyes. "Anyways, just ask Nicole. Forget about Alex. She probably won't ever want to see us again."
"To see you again." I correct him. "And you want Alex to come, I know you do."
"I couldn't care less." He says.
Yeah, right. I know he likes her. I can just tell. But I guess he's just not manly enough to admit it.
"Just give her some time." Jinxx advises.
"Thanks, Jinxx."
Alex POV
I quickly start walking home, the cool air helping me calm down. Nicole's car pulls up.
"I'd like to walk." I say.
She looks hesitant. "Okay... but you have to tell me whats going on the minute you get home, alright?"
I give her a thumbs up and she drives away. All I could think about was how much I hate that cocky, self-confident asshole.
Nicole POV
I sighed, frustrated, as I drove down the road. What's her problem? Why did she slap Ashley Purdy, the bassist of Black Veil Brides, for no reason? I thought Andy and I were getting really close, but then Alex just had pull something like that. Slapping his best friend. I missed Andy already...
Ash POV
I have to admit, that slap hurt. Usually when girls slap me, if they slap me, it doesn't hurt. But this girl can hit.
The guys seemed kind of mad at me, but I didn't know why. None of them can say they haven't touched a girls ass before. And Alex would be back. At least, I hoped she'd be back. But who knows? Girls can really overreact sometimes.
I did sort of feel bad for Andy, though. He seems pretty upset when Nicole left. But he'll find her tomorrow, I know he will.
Alex POV
I walk through the door, immediately seeing an angry Nicole waiting for me.
'Well?"
"He treats me like I'm his or something." I explain, shutting the door.
"And that's a bad thing? Most girls would love for a guy to say their 'his'!"
"Well not me. I don't want to belong to anybody. I want a relationship where it's equal, you know?"
"Alex, you don't always get what you want. And you slapped him! Why would you slap him?" She asks.
"He touched my ass. Grabbed it, to be exact."
"Well I get how you're disturbed about that but he probably would have apologized." Nicole says.
"But he did so much more than that, and I guess I just had enough."
Nicole gets a sad expression on her face. "Now I'll probably never see Andy ever again..."
"When did this become about you?" I ask. "Every time I try to talk to you about my problems, you always find a way to make it about you!"
"I do not!" She protests.
"Yes, you do." I walk past her. "I'm going to bed."
