Alex POV
I tuck a strand of my long black hair behind my ear and straighten my jacket before looking at Nicole. She's my best friend. I looked her up and down. She wore black ripped jeans, a purple tank top, and a leather vest. Her long dark brown hair was in neat, wavy curls and around her eyes was a smokey look. She looked gorgeous. Then I looked at myself. My black shorts with skull designs on them, my white tank top, and my leather jacket with the words "Outlaw" printed on the back of it. Yep. I guess you could say I was a "Purdy Girl." Nicole actually got this jacket for me, and I really liked how comfortable it was. So I wore it almost everywhere. I then looked at my hair and makeup. I always have envied Nicole for her perfectly straight hair. Mine was always frizzy.
"Ready?" She asks.
I nod. "Let's go. It'll start soon. We were on our way to a Black Veil Brides Concert.
Andy POV
I skip back and forth backstage, making sure my headset won't fall off. Then I turn my head to the others, seeing if they're ready. Ashley and CC are goofing off. Not surprised. Usually I would join in, but we have to go onstage in a few minutes.
"Hey, CC. Go check your drums, will ya?"
CC stops messing around and goes onstage. The crowd cheers, but the cheering soon fades down when they learn we're still doing sound check. I can hear them chant, "Black Veil Brides, Black Veil Brides!"
When I turn my head to Jake, Jinxx, and Ash, I see that they're all ready. Good. Our manager came in and told us all the equipment was ready, and we could start anytime. Ashley messed with his hair a while longer until he was satisfied with its look. Jake, Jinxx, and Ash went onstage and I follow after them. Jinxx and Jake immediately start playing the first few notes of our album, "Wretched and Divine," and CC and Ash join in. I look onto the sea of people, all staring back with anxious looks on their faces. Ashley walks to the other side of the stage, touching some fan's hands as he goes. Most of them scream. Except one. She just smiles, her dark hair falling into her eyes slightly as some fangirls try to push their way closer. I notice a girl next to her isn't screaming either. Somehow they're different...
I focus back on the music and start singing. I smile as the crowd sings along. I love performing.
Nicole POV
I smiled when Ashley's hand touched mine, and Alex was doing the same when he touched hers. This was her second BVB concert, my first. And so far I was loving it. They performed Wretched and Devine, In the End, Fallen Angels, Rebel Yell, I am Bulletproof, and The Legacy.
Alex and I decided to push our way out of the crowd and over to the signing area during the last song so we wouldn't have to wait in a huge line. 20 people, however, had the same idea as us and beat us there. Oh well. Now we just wait.
