Chapter 3- Disasterology
Imogen’s Point Of View
“Hey guys.” Andy and I say at the same time as we’re greeted by everyone.
“How’s the lovely couple going?” CC asks causing everyone to laugh.
Andy just gives him a weak smile and everyone goes back to doing their own thing.
“So have you talked to Austin or Jack lately?” Andy asks me.
“Nah not really, they’ve both been busy with stuff and I’ve been busy.” I tell him, just then Juliet walks through the door.
“It’ll be fine.” I whisper to Andy as he tightens the grip on my hand.
“Hey Andy, Hey Imogen. Congrats on the wedding.” She says giving us both a hug.
“We’ve been married for a little over a year now but thanks.” Andy says awkwardly.
“So how’s everything been going?” Juliet says with a happy tone. This is starting to scare me.
“Umm they’ve been alright...” Andy and I both say at the same time.
“I’ll show you where the recording room is.” Andy says.
Andy’s Point Of View
Hopefully if I show her where the recording room is she can do her part and then leave. Sorry I know I must seem like an asshole right now but she is my ex after all and she did kind of make my life a living hell for a little while.
“So, have you finally come to your senses yet?” Juliet asks me, her tone being harsher than it was when I was with Imogen.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, have you finally realized that this whole thing with her has been a phase?” Juliet explains.
“If it was a phase I wouldn’t have married her. I love her and I don’t know what your problem is. Aren’t you dating someone?” I ask, slightly panicking.
“Yeah but that doesn’t matter.” Juliet pressed my body against a wall and presses her lips to mine.
“Get the fuck off me!” I push her away just as Jinxx walks past me. “The room is 2 doors to the left hurry up and record and then get the fuck out.” Okay that pissed me the fuck off. What if that was Imogen instead of Jinxx? Then our marriage would be over. I didn’t kiss her back so it doesn’t count as cheating right?
“Andy are you okay?” Jinxx says as he walks up to me.
“No, I’m not. What am I going to do? She’s not just going to stop. I know her too well than to just think that.” I say.
“Just calm down, you don’t have to tell Imogen anything just make sure that it doesn’t happen again. Calm down, go have a smoke and then come back in here k?” Jinxx says to me.
“Thanks.” I walk out to the courtyard and see CC and Ashley playing table tennis.
I pull a cigarette out of my pocket along with my lighter and light it up whilst inhaling its toxins. It’s 11:30 and I haven’t had one today so for the first one of the day it felt fucking great.
“How’s everything going?” Ashley asks me.
“Eh, they’ve been better, you?” I reply.
“I’ve got a hangover ugh.” Ashley grumbles.
“Aw was someone partying last night?” I chuckle.
“Hey at least I can still get drunk off my ass and get away with it.” Ashley laughs.
“He has a point.” CC says.
“Damn.” I admit defeat and keep talking to the guys for a little while.
Imogen’s Point Of View
I get out my phone, thinking about what Andy said about talking to Austin and Jack.
I text Austin first since I’m a little closer to him than I am to Jack.
Hey, we haven’t talked in a while, how are you? –Imogen
Hey! I’ve been pretty busy lately with this new album and we’re on tour with A Day to Remember so things have been pretty hectic, how are you? –Austin
I’m alright :) Juliet’s here recording. Tell Jeremy that I said hi –Imogen
I hope she’s not being a bother, he said hi back. I’m really sorry but I’ve got to go. We’ve got a show in Canada in a couple of minutes. Hopefully we’ll talk soon –Austin
Aw okay, good luck with the show –Imogen
Well Austin’s on tour so there’s no way that I’d be able to hang out with him but Jack lives in LA as well [A/N Jack Barakat, and just for the fan fiction.] I press message next to Jack’s contact and start messaging him.
Hey Jack :) –Imogen
Hi Imogen, how are you? –Jack
I’m good, how are you? –Imogen
Holly broke up with me and Alex is too busy with Lisa so I’m pretty lonely over here –Jack
I’m not busy now; do you want me to come over? –Imogen
Yeah sure, I should probably clean up though. There’s shit everywhere –Jack
Haha okay, I’ll just catch a cab back to my house and then I’ll get my car. I’ll see you in 45 minutes –Imogen
I put my phone back into my pocket and walk outside to the courtyard. I see Andy talking to CC and Ashley.
“Hey guys.” I smile at them.
“HI Imogen.” They reply.
Andy gives me a quick kiss on the cheek.
“I’m going over to Jack’s so I’ll see you later?” I say to Andy.
“Jack as in Jack Barakat?” Andy asks. I nod my head. “Haha cool, I thought you meant some other Jack. I’ll see you later then.” Andy kisses me and I kiss him back. I say bye to CC and Ashley and then walk back inside to say bye to Jinxx.
I call and cab and then knock on the door of the guitar room. Jinxx puts his stuff down. “Hey.”
“Hi Jinxx, I just thought that I’d say bye. I’ll see you next week.” I give him a hug.
“Okay cool, see you next week.” Jinxx says. Jinxx is like the big brother that I never had.
I walk back into the main room to get my can of Monster so I can go but I’m stopped by Juliet.
“I will get what I want.” She says with a smirk.
“Whatever helps your sleep at night.” I tell her as I shrug.
