I was at the LA airport, waiting for my moms car to pull up and take me home. I was going to miss everyone, but I had sort of gotten used to it, from saying goodbye the last time. Andy and I had agreed to move on, and let go. It hurt to, but I knew that it was something that I had to do. "Amber!" My mom yelled, running at me. She scooped me into a warm, rose smelling hug. "Did you have a nice time?" She asked, as she picked up my bag, and we walked towards the car. "Yeah it was great to see everyone again."
"And how was Andy?" She asked, and I felt my heart fall into my stomach. "He's good. he's got himself a band, and he's doing good." I said, trying to hide the hurt that was starting to lace my voice. "You don't seem so sure." She said, as we got in the car, and drove off. "I'm sure mom. It's just saying goodbye again." I lied. "Oh sweetie, you'll see them again, I promise." She said, placing her hand on mine, and then moving it back to the wheel.


(Back at school.)

I walked through the school halls and opened my locker. I noticed there was a girl standing at the locker beside me. She had black and blonde hair, and was wearing black clothes. I looked at her and smiled. "Hi." She looked at me, in shock. "Erm...Hi." She said nervously. "Your new here arn't you?"
"yeah. New girl in town."
"I was that a few months ago, Whats your name?"
"Sammi, what about you?"
"Cool name and I'm Amber."
"Cool, can I stay with you please. I have no one to be with and i'm sort of stuck."
"Yeah sure, buti'll warn you don't have any friends here."
"I've been the same at my other school, thats why I moved."
"We'll I move all the time thanks to my moms job, but her boss/boyfriend lives round here, so I feel like I might be staying here a little longer."
"Oh god. That'd kill me."
"Well we better go or we'll be late for class. What do you have."
"Maths."
"Same, come on lets go." We walked to our lesson together. I actually had a friend In LA. Something I never thought would happen.

After school, she came around my house, and we spent ages talking about ourselves and girl stuff. As we were talking, Skype popped up, with Jinxx smiling at the screen "Hey how you doing Amber?" He asked. "Good thanks, you?"
"Whos that?" Sammi mouthed at me. "Jinxx." I mouthed back, as Jinxx babbled on an on about the band. "Jinxx meet Sammi , Sammi this is Jinxx." I said, pulling Sammi onto the screen. "Hi." She said, nervously. "Hi he said back. We spent ages talking to Jinxx, and he gave Sammi his number, before saying our goodbyes, and logging off. "He's cute."Sammi said. I grinned at her, and got up to get some drinks.
