"You'll be fine sweetie, I'll bet you'll make some new friends in no time." My mom said, giving me an encouraging smile. I gave her a weak smile back, and burried myself down into my seat. Another new school. Another set of bullies. Another few months until I probably had to pack my stuff back up and move again. I was fed up of being the new kid. I just wanted to stay somewhere permenatly, but I knew that would not happen any time soon. My mom's job was a nightmare for me, a dream job for her. She got transdered from place to place every few months, and I never got to fit in, or make any proper friends. My mom pulled up at a huge school, with loads of teenagers standing in groups laughing, hugging. I sunk lowe and lower into my seat. I didn't want to get out of the car. I didn't want to have to face another new building. I looked up at mom. "Come on sweetie, you'll be fine. she said, squeezing my hand. I undid my seatbelt, and got out of the car. I watched as my mom pulled away from the school, and drove down the street. I looked around me. Some people were already staring at me, realising that I was new. I took a deep breath, and walked towards the school. "Oh god we've got another Emo at this school. Any more and they might try and take over." One boy said, and all his friends laughed. "Oi Sweetheart. Where you going?" He yelled, walking towards me. He grabbed my arm, forcing me to face him. "Now we don't want a pretty little emo like you walking around here, without knowing who's top man around here." He said, smirking. "Let go you creep." I said trying to break free but his grip was way to tight. "You can't talk to me like that." He said his grip getting tighter. "Hey!" Someone behind me called. They walked up and pulled me from his grasp. "Why don't you pick on someone smaller than you, cause if you don't I will kick your butt." I looked up at this girl who had just pulled me to her side. She had blue hair which was backcombed to make it big. She had pale skin, ruby red lips, and dark brown eyes, which had a small amount of black eye liner rimming her eyes. "Oh whatever, I'll get you later sweatheart." He said, smirking as he walked back off to his group of mates. The tall blue haired girl looked at me and smiled. "Take it your new then?" She said, looking at me. "Yeah, don't worry i'm used to being new to schools."
"Oh you move around alot then?"
"Yeah thanks to my moms stupid job. So whats your name?"
"Emerald. What's yours?"
"Amber."
"Nice name, so you like Motley Crue?" She asked, looking at my wrist bands.h
"Yeahm there like my favorite band, them and Kiss."
"Well me and you are gonna be great friends." She said, pulling me into a warm hug. "Well you belong over here with me in the dark side. But first lets get you a new timetable." She said leading me into the tall building.


I had spent the first half of the day, finding where I was. I had most of my lessons with Emerald, and she seemed to accept me for me. It was Dinner time and Emerald lead me into the yard, and towards three other kids. There were two girls and one boy. The two girls both had bright pink hair and bright blue eyes. They looked identical, like twins. The boy had Black hair, deep blue eye, and was wearing a kiss tee-shirt. He was looking down at a book, his pen speeding across the page. "Oi, we've got a new recute here." Emerald said, causing all the two girls to look up. They jumped up and pulled me into a group hug. "Hi. I'm Bailey......"
"And I'm Hailey...."
"If you hadn't noticed...."
"Were twins....." They said. "Don't start that, you'll confuse her. They love to do that. It confuses people." Emerald said. "Andy!" She yelled, causing him to jump up onto his feet looking round in confusion. "This is Amber. She's new and I think she's gonna fit it with us more than anyone else." She said, looking at him. He smiled and his eyes drifted over to me. His smile widended, and he held his hand out. "Hi, I'm Andy, Your Amber right?"
"Yeah." I said taking his hand and quickly shaking it. "Nice name."
"Thanks." I felt myself blushing a little bit. "So you think your gonna fit in?" Emerald asked, linking my arm. I nodded and she grinned at me and we both plonked down on the bench. Emerald turned to me and started to twiddle my scarlett hair in her fingers. "I love your hair, it's beautiful." She said. "Thanks, it's a hell of alot of hairdye and hairspray." I said. "Can I plait it?"
"If you wanna."She turned me around, and started to do a lose-ish side plait. I couldent help but notice that Andy was staring at me the whole time, his notebook balanced on his lap, he pen held in mid air. I stuck my tounge out at him, and he waggled his back. I had found for the first time in my life, made some new friends who understood me.
