Changed...

"Do you trust me?"

I brushed my long blonde hair, and smiled at my reflection. My phone buzzed again, and I put on a quick layer of eye shadow before grabbing my phone and walking down stairs. I checked my outfit one last time, before smiling at my mom. I was wearing a bright pink tee-shirt that said wild child, a pair of blue skinny jeans, and a denim jacket, along with a pink bag. "You okay mom?"
"Yeah sweetie, where you off to?"
"Just out shopping with friends."
"Okay sweetie, don't be back late."
"I wont." I said, hugging her before stepping out onto the street. I met my friends Jenna and Annie, and got in the car on the way to the shopping centre.

We pulled up and walked into the shopping centre. "So remind me why were here?" I asked, and Jenna smiled. "We need new dresses for the party were going to. Only the hottest of the hottest are going to be there, so we need to look the same." She said, and I nodded. I didn't know why but I never really liked looking the same as everyone else. Ever since the accident I had always felt like something was missing, that I was deeply missing someone, I just couldn't understand or remember why. I sighed as they dragged me into a small boutique full of glittery and sequined dresses. After about an hour of giving the others advice on clothes, and trying on a few myself, we finally came out the shop. I had a tight red dress and the matching heels, and the others came out with a pink and a blue one.

We walked down to the nearest Starbucks, and took a seat after ordering. "Oh my god look at those freaks." Jenna said, looking over at a group of people who had just walked in. They all had leather jackets, skinny jeans, and black eyeliner, even the boys, and all had dark raven hair. I studied them with my eyes, taking in every part of leather, and studs I could see. One looked at me, and studied me. I looked up at his bright blue eyes. I felt my heart melt slightly. I felt like I knew him, even though I had never met or seen him ever before in my life. He stared at me, and I turned away, taking a sip of coffee. "Well if they want to dress like that there's no problem." I said, and they stared at me. "No problem? Jesus Lyra what's got into that head of yours? there not normal, there scary and all alcoholics or druggies." Annie said, turning to give them a dirty look, then turned back to me.

"Yeah but we cant say that about them until we've met them." I said, and they sighed. "Honesty, I know you had an accident and It scrambled your brain but come on. There's nothing to like about them." Jenna said, and I sighed "Fine. But I still say that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover." I said, taking another sip of coffee. I could fell one of them staring at me, and I looked up, meeting the same blue eyes I did before. I sighed, an finished my drink. "Well I think you should to keep yourself safe, you waltz over to them you' be in danger."
"Well if you go over to the cool kids you know you'd be in danger, we all know what they want and they'll go to any lengths to get it."
"It's only cause your frigid. You need to grown up at some point."
"Well sorry but your not the one who cant remember her 18th birthday."
Well that's not my fault-"
"It's not mine either, I didn't ask to be hit by a car." I said, and they sighed, finishing their drinks. "No need to be like that, come on Annie." Jenna said, getting up and leaving me in the coffee shop.

I sighed, and sat there looking down into my lap. I could still feel him staring at me, and there was a sudden shadow over me. "Hi.." A deep voice said, and I looked up to see the boy with the blue eyes. "Hi." I said, and he sat down opposite me. "Are you ok?"
"Not really. I'm being forced to go to a party when I could get drugged and god knows what else, and now my friends have left me in here and I have no way of getting home. But are well, I'll live." I said, and he chuckled slightly. "What's your name?"
"Lyra." I said, and I saw his eyes widen slightly. "Well I have a car, I can always drop you off home." He said, and I looked at him. "I don't even know you."
"I'm Andy, and I wont hurt you. I'm thankful actually. I heard you sticking up for us."
"Well I have different views that them." I said, and he stood up. "Come on, do you trust me?"
"What?"
"Do you trust me?" he asked, and I stared.

The words rang in my ears, going round and round. I had heard that somewhere before, I could remember it being said, but I couldn't remember by who, and why. I coughed slightly, and nodded, taking his hand, and standing up. "Yeah, I suppose." I said, following him out the shop and to a car. I got in, phone in my hand in case, and we sped off. "What's your address?"
"Errm, 13 mocklow road." I said, and he looked at me. "Really?"
"Yeah." I said, and he nodded. "So mind if I ask your full name?" He asked, and I looked at him. "Lyra Jenson." I said, and I saw him tighten on the steering wheel. We pulled into my street, and up to my house. "Thank you Andy." I said, and he smiled at me. "No problem. Here, have my number, text me some time." He said, and I smiled, getting out the car, and going into my house, He sped off down the road, and I sighed, walking upstairs to my bright purple bedroom.
