Knives and Pens
A match into water.
I arrived at the venue for the concert a few hours early to make sure I would get a good spot in front of the stage.did I mention it was a Black Veil Brides concert? BLACK VEIL BRIDES!! My all-time favourite band and my saviours.
When I say saviours I mean it. I was going through a difficult time in my life two years ago and was contemplating suicide. As I was lining up the pills along the kitchen counter I heard a song playing on the TV. It was Sweet Blasphemy by BVB. I listened and broke down in tears. I put the pills away, knowing I wouldn't need them. I was going to stay alive. No matter what anybody did to me.
As I was looking back on those dark times I saw a group of black hooded figures approaching me. Thy cane to a stop about 5 feet away from me. "Give me everything you got little girl" snarled the one in the middle who also happened to be the largest.
"I-I don't have anything but concert tickets, please, please leave me alone" I replied with a shaky voice, trying my best to not show how scared I actually was.
"I'll ask again sweetheart" he said, removing a knife from his boot at the same time. "Give me everything you have or suffer the consequences."
"I swear, I don't have any-" I was cut off by the knife plunging into my side just above my hip. I screamed. The man just laughed, pulled out the knife and cruelly whispered "warned you sweetheart."
By that time I had collapsed against the wall and slid down to the hard concrete. I was clutching my side, gasping for breath. 5 dark silhouettes were in my vision, which was slowly dying by the second. "You have what you want, go, please!" I begged the dark shapes.
"Are you ok, what happened?" A deep voice asked. One that sounded familiar. Where was it from? I couldn't put my finger on it. I opened my mouth to reply as everything went black.
