Sky's POV
I was wandering around the party a bit before I found my godfather Austin Carlile. I ran up to him and screeched like pterodactyl, "Godfather!" I yelled jumping onto his back. He almost fell because of the my weight on his back. I'm not that big I'm about 120 lbs. When he righted himself, he pulled me off his back and held me out in front of him. After looking me over, he yelled "Godson!" Before giving me a bone-crushing hug. I laughed and said "I can't breathe!" He let me go and ruffled my hair before saying "So how's the band search going?" I sighed and shook my head. "Not so good, but I'm sure we'll end up with Little C, Mitch, me, Ro, and maybe someone else. We just don't know who yet." He nodded his head understandingly before walking off somewhere. I went to go find my aunt Caden when I bumped into Copeland. "Oh hey Cope! Got a second?" I asked quickly. "Oh yeah hey Sky!" She replied chipperly. "Want to help me, Ro, Little C, and Mitch put a band together?" I asked happily thinking she might be the final puzzle piece. Her face fell a little and she said "Sorry Sky, I can sing nor play an instrument." She walked away after she said that. That was bull shit. She could sing AND play an instrument! I just let it go and went to find my aunt. I finally found her talking to some random guy, I tapped her on the shoulder and she turned around and smiled at me. "Hey Sky!" I smiled back and said "Hey auntie Caden, I was wondering could me and Ro stay with you tonight?" She smiled even bigger and nodded her head before turning back to her male friend. I went to find Ro, when I found her I was instantly pissed. There was a guy who had her pressed against the wall. She was trapped and looking around for help, when her eyes landed on me she mouthed a "help." The jackass had started kissing down her neck. I went up and pulled him away from her. It was her stupid ass fucking ex Jonathan who'd almost raped her. When I pulled him back he looked at me and drunkenly slurred "What the fuck do you want faggot? Can't you see I'm trying to get laid?" I snapped when he said that. No one, and I mean no one will be just a one night stand to get in my sisters pants. I pulled him into the middle of the living room I climbed on top of the coffee table and yelled at the top of my lungs, "DAD! UNCLES BEN, DANNY, BATMAN, CC, JAMES, SAM, KELLIN, JINXX, JAKE, OR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF RO'S EX! HE ALMOST FUCKING RAPED HER AGAIN!" I climbed off the table breathing heavily, I started hearing "Get the fuck out of my way! That's my goddaughter he's talking about!" Soon I saw Austin push his way through, then I heard "The fuck out of our ways mate! We're trying to fuck up that prick for hurting our little Ro!" Then we were joined by my mom, dad, Mitch, Danny, Ben, Little C, Big C, Andy, Jinxx, Jake, Ronnie, Aunt Caden, and Kellin. They all looked thoroughly pissed. Dad went and grabbed Jonathan by his collar roughly and pulled him outside, with us following in suit. Once we got out there we formed a circle with him, dad and Austin in the middle. "So you fucking prick, you think you can come right back in here and hurt my daughter? Well you've got another god damned thing coming asshat!" Dad said yelling in his face. Jonathan looked terrified now, good. He better be. When Ronnie was punching Jonathan, I turned to see some other guy all over Ro, he took something out of his pocket and hit her over the head with it. She instantly fell to the ground. "NO! Ro!" I yelled as I ran back inside, I had tears streaming down my face. When I got to her, her lip was split and she had blood coming from somewhere on her head. I started hyperventilating, everything started to go by in slow motion. Mom ran over to Ro and started sobbing, dad was in tears calling an ambulance, my aunt and Austin were in front of me trying to get me to respond. When I couldn't Austin picked me up and took me to my room. I kicked, screamed, and clawed to get back to Ro. 'S-she can't leave me! She's my baby sister! I wasn't there to protect her like when I promised after Jonathan hurt her!' Those types of thoughts started running through my mind. Austin sat me on my bed and grabbed a notebook and a pen and sat them in front of me, then left. I started writing down lyrics.
