Perfectly imperfect.

~Ro's POV~ After dinner, Sky and his friend Jasper ran up to his room. I disregarded it as I helped J carry all her shopping bags up to her room. When I walked past Sky's room, I heard moaning. 'Woah! Either they're getting it on, or someone got hit!' I thought to myself. If they got together, then woohoo! I got $20 from Uncle CC! Me and J walked into her room and sat her stuff down. "So, what's it like to be adopted?" I asked curiously. She chuckled as she pulled her bedding out that mom and dad bought for her. "Well, it's interesting for sure. Once, I was adopted by a family who were extremely Christian and they got so pissed at me once because I didn't wear the necklace they got me!" She said, laughing. Then her face seemed downcast as she sighed and said "Then another time, this really nice lady or so it seemed like, adopted me. She was so kind the first few days, then she told me one day 'My boyfriend is coming over! Make sure you look ravishing!' And so I made sure to look nice and whatnot. When he got there, she went into the kitchen to get dinner, and h-he touched me... When I told her, she didn't believe me. She said I was begging for attention and took me back the next day..." I bit my lip and went over to her, when I reached her I gave her a hug. I pulled away and said "J, we love you here. She was a bitch for not listening to you, we will listen to you here." She smiled and nodded before going back to getting the bedding out. After I excused myself as she was putting her clothes away, I went to Sky's door and turned the knob. It was locked "what the fuck?" I whispered to myself, he never locks his door. I pulled a bobby pin out of my hair, remembering how Aunt Caden had taught me to pick a lock. I pushed it through the small opening, wiggling it around and little and presto! Unlocked. I opened his door quietly, when I stepped in I saw Jasper and Sky both lying under the covers, shirtless and spooning. I pulled out my phone and quickly took a picture. C'mon, they were just too cute of a couple. I sent the picture Sky saying "You two are so cute together! I'm going to support both of you, so will everyone else!" I ran out of the room and closed the door quietly as I sent it. I went into my room and flopped down onto my bed, today was fucking long. Well atleast a few good things did come out of it, my brother got in a pretty good relationship and we got Jenna. I smiled to myself as I lifted myself off my bed and trudged towards my dresser. I grabbed some PJ's out of the top drawer along with some undies. I walked into the bathroom that connected to my room and turned the shower on, I realized I needed shampoo when I looked in my shower. I walked out of the bathroom and my room, into the hall. I could hear mom, dad, some of my uncles, and godfather talking. I just shrugged it off and walked over to the hall closet and grabbed a shampoo bottle. When I was back in my bathroom, I was reaching in my drawer for a makeup remover when my hand brushed against something cold. I pulled it out, with shaking hands; It was the blade that I had almost ended it with sometime last year. 'C'mon, just one little line. You know you want to.' The little voice inside my head sang out. I shook my head and quickly peeled off my clothes, jumping into the shower. I looked down at my wrists as the foundation washed away. The jagged scars ran across my arms, I started remembering all the names the kids at school had ever called me. 'Slut, whore, cow, fatass.' I started crying, suddenly, the urge to cut was growing stronger. I stepped out of the shower, not even bothering to bathe. I wrapped myself in a towel and ran out of the bathroom. I ran to my door and peeked out, looking both ways before running across the hallway to Sky's door. I opened it quietly and saw him propped up on his elbow. "S-sky?" I said quietly. He nearly dropped his phone when he jumped. "Wha-? What are you doing Ro?!" He said quickly pulling the blanket over himself. "Sky, I found it again.." I said quietly. His face softened as he said "Oh Ro, listen go and get dressed and when your done text me and I'll come over. Okay?" I nodded and walked out. I walked to my room and pulled out a big shirt and some shorts. After pulling them on, I texted Sky telling him it was all clear. I hugged my knees to my chest and rocked back and forth, I heard my door open and then I felt the bed sink down beside me. A familiar pair of arms were around my shoulders when I looked up. I didn't realize I was crying, until Sky wiped my tears away with his thumb. "Ro, did you do it again?" He asked, concern clear in his voice. I shook my head no and to prove it I held my writs out and pulled my pants leg up so he could see. Once he was satisfied, he nodded and got up. He crept over to my bathroom and walked in. I heard my window close after him being in there for a few minutes. He walked back in and sat beside me, he sighed and said "Ro, want me to sleep with you?" I shook my head and said "No, it's okay. You can go back and cuddle with Jasper..." He bit his bottom lip, as if he was thinking. "Okay oh, and don't forget tomorrow we go shopping for homecoming things. Wear something nice, I'll get you a great guy." He said getting up. I giggled slightly and nodded, he was at my door when he turned around and said "Ro, I am extremely proud of you. I love you little sis." Smiling he walked out the door. -Time Lapse to the day before homecoming-
