I walked beside her, and she folded her arms across her chest. The cool air whipped around us, and I shuddered, rubbing my arm with my hand. "It's freezing, shall we go inside?" I asked, and she shook her head. "You can if you want to but I...just need some time to get my head together, sort some stuff out." She said, giving me a small smile. "Well maybe I can help." I said, and she chuckled to herself. "I don't think you can love." She said, and I smiled. "I can. I'm always here to help Kandy, you should know that."
"I do know that Andy it's just..."
"Just what?"
"It doesn't matter?" She said, shaking her head and looking down at the floor. "It does, if it's bothering you it's better to tell someone so they can help."
"Its not bothering me that much, it's just my curiosity, and it's something I have to get rid of."
"What's wrong with curiosity, it keeps the world interesting."
"It just causes trouble for me."
"Well that 'trouble' is more interesting than playing it safe." I said, and she laughed. "I suppose so yes." She said, and I smiled, looking back off into the distance.

"What were you and Ashley talking about?" I asked not thinking about what I was saying, and she froze for a second, not baring to look at me. "What do you mean?"
"When you left the room, and then he left after you saying he needed 'the toilet'." I said, and she looked down at the floor. "I went into the other room, and he wasn't there, he went to the toilet like he said." She said, and I felt my jaw tense. I knew she was lying to me, and I couldn't believe she was. What was so bad that she couldn't tell me the truth? Were her and Ashley a thing now and they wouldn't tell me because of the betrayal. I had confided in Ashley my feelings for her, and he was going to go behind my back and get with her?! I stared at her, and she still looked down at the floor, not daring to look up and meet my face.

"Is something going on?" I asked, and her head shot up to look at me. "No, nothing is going on Andy I can promise you that."
"Can you really promise me that? Can you?" I asked, feeling my anger raise. I had the shortest temper in the world, and anything could set me off on a rampage. I could feel my blood boil beneath my skin, and I took in a deep breath, trying to calm down. "Yes Andy I can. Why are you suddenly interested in what I do in my spare time?"
"Because I'm interested, curiosity remember?"
"Don't start that, and anyway if I did meet Ashley, which I didn't what does it matter to you?"
"Because Ashley is not the best person to trust because he switches from girl to girl in a second."
"What has it got to do with you? And can you say that for sure?" She said, quoting me. "Oh for god sake Kandy, I'm trying my hardest to help you-"
"And while doing that being nosey." She snapped, and I felt my anger explode through my system. "Well fuck you then! I was trying to help!"
"Don't yell at me your the one being nosey and sticking it in places it dosent belong!" She yelled, and I felt myself squaring up to her, glaring at her with my hard eyes. "Do you think you scare me! You may be tall and have a deep voice but I've worked in that strip club for years, I've met people who would knock you off your feet in a second so you don't scare me!" She yelled, before storming off into the night.
