You drift into consciousness again, unsure as to how long you've slept for.
'Was I dreaming? Did I imagine that Ashley and Andy from Black Veil Brides had been sat there when I woke up?' You wonder, your head pounds.
"I think she's waking up!" A hushed voice exclaims
"You sure? She hasn't opened her eyes."
"Hold on guys..."
"Bree..? You awake?"
You open your eyes to see not only the two A's sat there but the whole band, even Jinxx who had two black eyes and a large white bandage covering his nose. Jake and Ashley took up the two chairs, Ashley had Jinxx perched on his lap, Ashley's expression is a mix of pleased and confused whereas Jinxx was openly worried, his eyebrows arching comically over his bruised face. CC was perched in the arm of Jakes chair, leaning forward towards your bed. Andy was the only one stood, he looked like he'd been pacing and had frozen in position, his mouth open slightly. You blink , being slightly overwhelmed.
"Uh.. Hey." Your voice is husky and you begin to cough. Andy rushes over with a glass of water, Cc is now stood. You feel honoured that these complete strangers could care so much for a stupid fan who'd made a mess of herself. The water splashes down your throat, it tastes like its from gods personal well to your dry mouth.
"Thank you"
There is a moment of tense silence, every single eye in the room is on you and you don't know quite what you're expected to do. You look at Jinxx,
"Are you alright? Your face looks sore"
He begins to make a deep, hissy noise, which takes you a second to understand. He was laughing. After a few seconds of growl-chuckling he screws up his face and begins choking. Ashley starts repeatedly banging on his back grinning, it's like a comedy skit.
"What?" You ask, unable to help cracking a small smile.
Once he has his breath back Jinxx replies "The girl in the ICU just asked me if I was okay" Ashley laughs along as Jinxx wheezes again.
"Fucking hell, steady man" Jake grins, eyebrows raised, his face in an expression you'd never seen him do before.
Cc rolls his eyes, a smile playing in his lips.
"The guys told us about you. We all want to help you if we can. Get you home or something... Well.. when you're better" you can tell he was working out his wording in his head as he spoke, his voice was surprisingly soft.
" Thank you" you say, looking directly at him. It means so much to you that he cares.
"So where would home be exactly, the UK isn't very big I'm sure we could get you anywhere."
Jake inquires.
"Well uh.." Your mouth goes dry, facing the awful truth hurts, like a plaster being ripped off the wound. "My van.. So basically nowhere." You mutter.
At this point Andy, who'd been stood silently observing the situation, strode forward and sat on the end of my bed, his face a mask of concern and almost desperation as tears once again streak down your cheeks. The rest of the band sat frozen on the spot, for a second before you're bombarded by fingers wiping cheeks and soft comforting words and hugs. Feeling so wanted and loved, you suddenly feel incredibly drowsy again.
"Thank you." You whisper before being dragged back into unconsciousness in a rather dramatic fashion.
