*Sam's PoV*
Ouch.
It hurts.
Everything was a blur. One second I was staring at the ceiling, my vision blurred and dim. I felt like my entire body was broken. And then, suddenly, there were arms gathering me up off the floor and pulling me in to someone's chest. I caught a blurred glimpse of familiar tattoos.
Andy. It hurts. Help. I thought the words, but I had no idea how much of them actually made it out of my mouth.
Andy murmured something, but I was too far gone to hear. The world turned black.

When I opened my eyes, I was temporarily blinded by the overwhelming amount of white in the room. White sheets, white ceiling, computer monitors... computers hooked up to my arms. Oh. Hospital.
There was an odd weight in my lap. I moved my IV-free hand down, wincing at the pain shooting through my side, to touch the blonde head resting on my thighs. I ran my hand through his hair. He was sleeping. I smiled and continued running my fingers through his hair, gently rearranging it.
I looked up quickly as the door to my hospital room burst open, my hand frozen on Andy's forehead. Jace ran into the room, but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Andy. He looked up at me, something like betrayal shining in his eyes.
"You little whore." He spat. "You... and him..."
"Jace." I shook my head, tears forming in the corners of my eyes. "It's not like that. He... he walked in on my dad beating me. He saved me. I woke up here, with his head in my lap."
Jace shook his head. "You have a thing for him. I can tell. You don't love me. You're just another slut." He glared at me, like he was wishing for me to spontaneously combust.
I started to cry. "Jace, that's not true. I love you." I felt Andy stir slightly in my lap.
Jace shook his head and turned away. "No, you don't. We're over, Sam. Never contact me again, you worthless whore."
And with that, the boy I loved walked out of my life forever.

I know, this chapter's really sad. I absolutely hated writing it. But you guys knew it was gonna happen eventually, right?Anywhore... more soon, hopefully. I hope to update at least every weekend.
