Diary Of My Escape From Hell

Cloe's POV

*two weeks later*

It was the mating ceremony and I was excited. I probably didn't look it but to be fair I was directly opposite thirty Doms. I didn't look at anything. I kept my gaze down and tried hiding behind Kim.

"AHEM!" The deputy head cleared his throat and the room silenced. He was a Dom too. The head master wasn't allowed to interfere with vamp tradition so he observed from afar. "Right. First of all. DOMS!" All the Doms stood up straight looking at him. He terrified me. "You will be receiving the most amazing gift today. You will love and cherish it for your eternity." He turned to the Fertiles around me. "Fertiles." He said in a calmer voice. "You will receive a protector. A provider. And your eternal love today."

The girls around me giggled and whispered. I looked over at the Doms briefly and caught James' eyes boring holes into my skull. My head shot down.

"Now we will be doing this alphabetically by surname. Sorry Danny."

"Awwrrhhh!" A groan was heard from one of the Doms.

"SKYLAR ACORD! To be mated with Kimberley Gage." The girl infront of me got up and skipped into his arms. Is she insane? He could rip her apart! "ANDY BIERSACK! To be mated with Juliet Simms."

"Bye!" I whispered into her ear as she joined Andy for a picture on the way out of the hall. They didn't leave though. They were waiting for the rest of us.

I didn't pay attention for a while until I heard the deputy shout, "CC! To be mated with Lauren Watson." I smiled and waved at her as she left. I gripped Ella's hand. "JINXX! To be mated with Ashley Costello." There was murmuring around the room but Jinxx seemed happy. I looked at Sammi.

"He must know that I cheated." She whispered and shrugged. That disgusted me. She had no respect for the word relationship.

"JAKE PITTS! To be paired with Ella Cole." I pouted as Ella let go of my hand. I zoned out again. Until I heard the deputy speak the words that made me freeze to the spot, "ASHLEY PURDY! To be mated with Holly Madison."

My blood ran cold.

I looked directly at him.

He didn't move.

Holly was skipping towards him with joy.
