Addison got up and got dressed. Since she had her new job she was required to change her hair color because they said the blue was too obscene, so she let her blonde grow in, and she had to dress differently for work. Its been a long time since she wore HER style clothes, and she wasnt entirely sure they still fit to be honest.
Her phone was ringing as she was getting dressed, she picked it up and pressed 'answer'
"Hello?"
"Hey Adds!"
"Hey mom!"
"How are you?"
"Im good, how are you and Dad?"
"We are good, i was calling to ask a favor"
"I can do what i can from here"
"Tristen has been being bullied severely for a while, and we think itll be a good idea for him to have a fresh start. I know its a lot to ask, but can he come stay with you for a while?"
"Of course! Id love to have him out here with me!"
"Really? your perfectly sure about this? I dont want to force him on you"
"Im sure, when can he get a flight out here?"
"Well we have school tomorrow and Friday, so maybe this weekend so i have time to take him out of school too and can you call a local high school and enroll him?"
"Of course, is his posters and clothes coming this weekend or are you sending them earlier?"
"Ill probably start sending stuff tomorrow, but some it will probably take longer"
"Okay thats fine, text me the details about what time and which airport and stuff like that"
"Of course hun, see you love you"
"love you, bye"

She waited at the airport for her brother, she hasnt seen him in a while so she texted him to meet her at the baggage claim spinny thing. She stood there for a while before the familiar face of the 13 year old boy with red hair, black skinny jeans, a band T shirt she recognized as her old one she gave him that she grew out of when she was a little older than him, and a my little pony beanie.
"Tristen?"
"Adds!" He hugged her and she ruffled his hair.
"Damn its been a while huh?"
"Yeah, i cant believe i'm in LA! Its awesome here"
"I kinda gotten used to it now, its not that special" He shrugged his shoulders and got his luggage from the spinny thing and they walked to the car.
"What happened to you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Your hair and clothes"
"I just changed i guess, i see you took all the clothes i left behind huh? That was my shirt and my beanie!"
"Yeah i went in your old room and raided it, found it at the back of your closet"
"That makes sense,"
"Are you going to dye your hair ever again?"
"I cant have unnatural colors at work"
"Oh that sucks, my hair is red"
"I see that, i love it too!" She giggled as they drove back to her apartment where she set up a bed, dresser and desk for him. All of his junk, posters and some clothes arrived a few hours earlier, they were in cardboard boxes waiting for him to put away.
"All your things got here earlier, they are in a box in your new room"
"Cool, im so excited to be in LA its so cool here"
"It is pretty cool, but lots of traffic and people. Thats a pretty big down side."
"I understand that, this is where all the famous people live"
"Not all, but a lot do."
"I want to see a famous person like Austin Carlile or Oli Sykes walking down the street, that would be amazing."
"Yeah it would be"
They pulled up to the house while Tristen continues to talk about a whole lot of things while Addsion pulled into her parking spot and popped the trunk to get his suitcases. They both walked inside the apartment.
"This is your room" She pushed open the guest bedroom door and they walked in.
"This is cool, i hope you have a lot of tape becuase im going to need it."
"I do, dont worry i bought a whole lot because i knew you were coming."
"Good"
"Okay you can unpack and shit, uh, school starts monday. Ill be in-"
"School starts!?"
"Yes.. Tris you cant just not go to school"
"I know, its just i thought youd let me stay home for a week"
"Maybe, ill think about it. Ill be downstairs you can unpack. What do you want for dinner?"
"Whatevers fine, i dont really care"
"Okay"
