"Andy, can we talk?"

"Sure, Ash. What is it?"

"what's going on?"

"What do you mean?"

"We haven't been the same since before the whole thing with September, is it because what happened on that walk. Cause if it is we can just forget about it. You don't have to pre-"

"I don't have to what? Pretend? You think I was lying about my feelings for you? Sorry to break it to you, Ash but my behavior has nothing to do with you. I'm stressed and your worrying about the little thing between us isn't helping"

"Little? Little? What the fuck Andrew?! Screw you!" Ashley yelled, throwing his arms up in defeat and anger. "Screw you!" He repeated.

"Don't yell at me Ashley! God damn! Look I'm sorry I didn't mean it I-"

"Don't Andy, just don't I knew telling you was a bad idea. I should've kept my mouth shut." He said, turning away from Andy, but Andy wasn't done with what he had to say. He grabbed him, holding him against the wall with his hands firmly around his upper arms, he looked at him straight in the eyes.

"Ashley Purdy, I have known you for 6 years and I have never once hurt you. I've never been anything but honest with you. Why the hell would I lie about something like this? I care about you and that's the end off it. Do you understand me? I've been distant, and I'm sorry. But things are crazy right now. We have shows, money issues, drama. What is going on with us is something I hope we can dwell on later but for now we just have to get everything fixed before we add more drama to the mix. I love you, Ashley. So man up and quit worrying. I'm not going anywhere. I promise."

"But you-"
"Ashley?"
"yeah?"
"Shut up"

And they kissed.

Ashley pulled away slowly only to have Andy whisper, "I'll never leave you, Ash"

At that moment Ashley looked into Andy's blue eyesand he looked back. They didn't move or say anything. Tears welled up in his eyes and dripped onto his cheeks, smudging his eye black a little. Andy bright is hand up slowly and wiped it away, leaving his hand at rest on Ashley's cheek. Without a moment's hesitation Ashley's hand rested on top of Andy's and they kissed once more.

No heavy breathing, wondering hands or lust filled eyes. They simply kissed, their hands still interlocked and an inch or two separating their bodies. Just close enough that the heat of one another can be felt.
